Story
We have a leadership crisis today, where even though our world has changed drastically, our leadership style has not. Most organizations, teams, schools, and families today still operate from a model of “command and control,” focusing on hierarchies and compliance from people. But because of the changing nature of the world, the workforce, work itself, and the choices we have for where and how to work and live, this way of leading is drastically outdated.

Essential Guide for New Project Managers
So you've finally gotten that promotion to "Project Manager" and you're ready to take on your first big assignment.
Problem is, you've got lots of theoretical knowledge, and perhaps even a little experience...but putting it all together into actionable steps to see the project through to completion is the hard part!
In walks Mr. Shield with his 29 boot camp and it's like heaven shone a light down onto you.
You now have in your hands actionable steps you can take over the next month, and in fact, the life of your project to make sure you succeed.
I'm delighted to have read this book. (well, listened). While I had the tools and knowledge already inside to succeed this guide really helped me get everything into perspective and really control myself and my project.
Hats off to the author - this is a winning formula!

Excellent short read for beginner PMs
I am completely new to the PM world and was blessed to be given an opportunity to work in his field. I am still learning as we all are all the time. This book helped me get some of the basic concepts down and understand some of the terminology that was being used. I am by no means where I want to be in this field, but this was a great help to someone brand new to it.
