Exactly what I was looking for!!!

I'm a new manager and like so many others I have been put in this position with very little training. This book gave me some tools that I will use to not be a sucky manager. One section that really stood out to me was where he spoke about handling non team player behavior on the job. I personally am not afraid of conflict but I do worry if I'm handling things properly. In that area this book gave me some good direction. The only bad part is that the guys voice can be sometimes hard to listen to. He slurs a little bit. 🤷

Takeaway

Stepping into a new leadership role & I absolutely needed this! The touches on micromanaging delegation & tolerance of non team player behavior are sections I wish I could send to my previous managers! They need to read this book!

Content was enriching and has good points.

Not worth the cost of one credit for how short the book was. I feel it's over priced.

Very Simple and Straight to the point

the book was short straight to the point, didn't ramble on and if your entering management or just need a reality check it's a short listen and will be very helpful

Good information, not too long

I read some of the other reviews and do not agree that there is a lot of filler.

This book is brief, accurate, and gets straight to the point. I enjoyed some of the humor that was used as well. The author was engaging and not monotone or monotonous.

This book had very informative info on how to be a good manager, presents 5 key facts and explains how to carry out each step as well as how to identify and confront obstacles that might get in your way. It was definitely worth the few dollars I paid to listen. Thank you very much!

Good points but lacked authenticity

One of the main points is to understand your staff and make honest relationships. Several times the author wouldnt make me beleive what he was saying due to fake laughs about certain comments. This isn't a good trait to pick up on when relaying these themes back to your team therefore I turned off after 1t minutes
