please read the first line of my review

if you take nothing else from this review please please please at least listen to the audible sample. The producer must have slowed down the narrarators tempo to make the book look longer than it is. the narrators voice is PAINFULLY slow! ironic for a book supposedly written for a target audience of procrastinators. bump the speed up to 1.10x or 1.15x for a normal tempo, I listened at 1.5x with no issues. second, and full disclosure, I only made it to chapter 11 (half way). I could summarize the authors suggestions for how to stop procrastinating in 1x paragraph. she actually spends more time giving examples of why procrastinating may be OK than she does getting after tips for how to stop doing it. maybe all of her "gems" reside in the second half but I can not stand to listen to the narrator any more nor can I stomach the terrible writing style the author has chosen. this was a bad choice and will likely be only the second book I've ever returned to audible. there are much better books out there with actionable ways to address this problem. The book Power of Habits is a good place to start. that book doesn't have the "magic ingredients" for how to form good habits but it explains the science behind them and how to use that science to form better habits. way more helpful than just being told, "this is a type of procrastinator and here is an example" hard pass on this book, this author, and this narrator in the future (for me)

Also are all of these reviews fake? Click on the reviewer almost everyone has only reviewed 1x book and it's this one. Come on now?!?

This audiobook could easily be a must listen

This audiobook could easily be a "must listen" for high school students. Easy listening....understandable how-to apply the principle's. This was a great reminder for me to start with the big, ugly, need-to but hate to face the number one priority on my list each day. Stay with that priority unto completion.
