love both the movies and the books.

David Tennant is a awesome reader. I could listen to him read the ingredients of tortilla chips and love it but the books make it even better. I love how he does Toothless voice. It makes him a real character like Andy Serkis does with Gollum/Smeagol. The books are addicting and I'm now obsessed with hearing them all and know I will be sad when I've done so. I highly recommend all the ones I have already purchased and likely will recommend all that I will be purchasing.

great story and performance

Hiccup continues to grow. His friends have his back as always. The bad guys are multiple and vindictive, but our heroes persevere, sometimes it is quite unbelievable, but within this story's style. The humor is still enjoyable, and there it's even a poignant and not very preachy lesson.
The performance is brilliant, of course.

A series for the whole family

This author is just brilliant and David Tennet brings it to life. We own the entire print collection an I am now building the audio collection. A must read series...Wizards of Once has been good too.

Fun with an awesome narrator.

Everybody says this series is perfect for boys between 8-12 years old. But I'm here to tell you that adult woman can like them too. I did start this series with my 10 year old but quickly grew tired of waiting for him and continued on listening to them by myself. I will be happy to go back and listen to them again, they were that much fun. I just love Stoak and Fishlegs they are always good for a laugh. I love the narrator, he makes these book that much more awesome.

A Refreshing Comedy

I quite enjoyed the lighted hearted silliness that disguised deeper meanings and questions to be considered.
