Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money.

Story
Every day we experience the uncertainty, risks, and emotional exposure that define what it means to be vulnerable or to dare greatly. Based on 12 years of pioneering research, Dr. Brené Brown dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and argues that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage. Brown explains how vulnerability is both the core of difficult emotions like fear, grief, and disappointment, and the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, empathy, innovation, and creativity.

Publisher's Summary
Each step we take, and every action we do in our daily lives is a form of communication. What distinguishes us from the rest of the species is that we can put a linguistic factor to our communication. But, when we are unable to express ourselves about basic things like intentions, beliefs, or thought process, our whole persona takes a hit and we end up being understood, or worse, ignored.

BEWARE OF AUDIBLE VERSION!!! NO CHAPTER LABELS!!!
These are hands down some of the best books ever written...BUT...the chapters aren't labeled AND are not even read in order!!! SHAME ON AUDIBLE!!! You sell me a book with no table of contents and no chapter titles??? I had to repurchase the How to Win Friends and Influence People book by itself, a second time, which actually came with a table of contents and was read properly from start to finish. Don't waste time with this Audible version, it's like reading random pages out of 3 different texts in no discernable order.

Life Changing Motivational Book. A must Own
This book is a MUST read for anyone, but particularly if you are in management or sales. This book changed my life in the way that I interact with people. I would highly recommend this book to ANYONE because it teaches everyone valuable lessons about human interaction. This book covers a wide range of topics such as how to motivate people, how to win them to your way of thinking, but also covers small and often overlooked things such as the importance of remembering someone's name (and tips for how to do so). Get a hard copy and read it several times, then pass it on to someone you know who could use help with becoming a better "people person".
