Amazing!

Hygge the way of zen like living for the Danish. This book is filled with sensible easy to follow techniques to give your moments more meaning. Light a candle, cuddle under a blanket, play board game with friends, and much more. It's about living life in the moment, simply. There isn't any hard written rule, or steps to follow it's just a path of gratitude and being present.

much better

This book is much better than the previous hygge book that I read last month.

I felt a genuine sense of happiness and coziness as I listen through this, curled up on my sofa with plenty of cushions and a mug of tea by my side. I tried to space out my reading and savor the book, but unfortunately, I was far too involved to do so!

Great hygge!

A quick read filled with a basic overview of Hygge. I think there is a load of common sense involved and not a lot of what a reader might not already know. Not bad, just a lot more of implementation.

Bad Translation, Repetitive

Struggled to finish. Astonished that the voice actor could read without constantly stopping to laugh. Frequently, the translator missed the mark, and it required effort for me to figure out what was meant. The writing was also repetitious, either due to bad writing originally or due to a lack of nuance in translation.

Fake reviews

Look at dates and names of reviews, you’ll see what I mean. This book repeats and repeats and repeats. No way is it a 5star book. Not a bad concept overall but the soup is really watered down on this one!

extremely repetitive

Good info,, but each chapter seems to repeat the info in the one before it. Should have been a blog post.

Exciting!

All along I thought this hygge is just a sort of travel agencies advertisement. One day met a danish girl in the office, out of my curiosity I asked her so much about her country. She mention about hygge with my eagerness I told her if I could visit there place and experienced hygge with them, good thing she agreed. Thanks to this audible.

Wonderful!

Upon reading this book I kinda wonder what is like living the danish way. Hygge is like dragging family and friends close to each other. Lovers cuddling in front a fire place. A cozy life away from stressful works.

greatbook and outstanding

This "Little Book of Hygge", written by the CEO of the Happiness Research Institute in Copenhagen, sets out to explore the Danish phenomenon 'hygge': What it is and how you can achieve it. It's always fascinating to read about your own people, but to me this petite book was even more fascinating because it explores something that I consider a constant and a necessity in my everyday life

great book

Ever since I heard the concept of "Hygge", I was intrigued by what it was, and how it helps people bring happiness in their lives. This is a nice book to get started with those questions.

Repetitive and uninteresting

Very repetitive, not sure how many times the author describes hygge as ' candles and cosy blankets' I love the concept, but the book was not interesting.

Seems to just repeat itself over and over

Can you say the same thing in a slightly different way for 3 and a half hours? If you can then you probably wrote this book. Also the irony of being told by a yank about Scandinavian living is not lost on me. Oh! and let's not forget how wet, cold and dark it is in Denmark (as I travel through the Danish countryside on a beautiful summers day with barely a cloud in sky). Only gets 2 stars because its about Danish culture and I love Denmark.
