Publisher's Summary

This raw and relatable guide to radical self-care and self-love empowers listeners to embrace the powerful Diosa within.

In this fiercely inspiring book from a fresh new voice in the women's empowerment space, psychotherapist Christine Gutierrez welcomes women to join her in healing the wounds from past hurt or trauma to reclaim their worth and come back home to their true self and soul.

Diosa is the Spanish word for goddess. A diosa is anyone who honors the primal feminine energy in the world and within themselves. According to Gutierrez, diosas face obstacles in their lives but are always ready and willing to go to their core to reclaim their inner worth and self-esteem. They are the ones who rise from the ashes and dare to piece themselves back together bone by bone and soul piece by soul piece. From stories of resilience from both Gutierrez and members of her Diosa Tribe, to mantras, meditations, and guided journaling prompts, this book gives women the tools they need to honor their sacred feminine and become who they were always meant to be.

I Am Diosa will inspire women to give themselves permission to feel, to be seen, to be heard, and to return to their truest selves.

Unsatisfied due to content and bad language

I purchased this book after listening to a review and also because it was recommended by someone I listen to on a podcast. I thought this book would focus on self healing, and while it does in a way, there are numerous stories about women in bad relationships that are learning how to “choose the right man” or “don’t pick that man”. I got about four hours into it and had to quit. I fully understand there are many women who need this help, and that’s great for them, however I’m in a different situation and felt this book did not jive with what I needed. I don’t need healing from a relationship gone bad, or trauma that that happened with my parents. I had a good relationship with both parents, and this book seems to resonate with an audience that had a harder upbringing.

On another note, the foul language in the book is unnecessary. I swear on occasion for sure, but I don’t care to listen to a book that has a swear word in every other paragraph. It’s just not for me.

Sorry for the poor review, I hope to help others in deciding to purchase or not. I have no ill will toward the author and I know she means the best and has and will continue to help many women.

The right tools for deep healing

The Universe led me to Christine’s book at the right moment. I had to fly home to Puerto Rico fifteen days ago to support my mom, who was diagnosed with cancer early in February. I started reading this book in April and it gave me all the right tools to go through this process of healing, understanding and accepting my inner child and my inner Diosa. My mom died on April 21st and all I can feel is immense gratitude. This book was the tool that God used to prepare me for this. Thank you, gracias Diosa. God bless you, your family and your life work. Abrazo grande.

Real, Raw and Divine

I purchased this to go along with the book as I read along. The narration was just as wonderful as the words in the book and I'm glad I can replay the key parts that stood out to my soul while hearing the author deliver real, raw divinity. Just the way my soul desires. Thank you!

Powerful Diosa

This book is worth the read. Christine is genuine, raw, unapologetic and true to herself. This transparency allowed me to feel safe in getting in touch with my inner child that has been neglected for so long. It felt like she was speaking to me directly as if we were friends. I will need to revisit this book several times so I won't forget the valuable lessons I've learned. I will use this book as a guide for living my life and not settling for anything less than what I deserve. Highly recommend getting this book for anyone that is looking to cultivate and nourish loving relationships and getting in touch with yourself. You are enough, you are worthy of love. TQM ❤

Profound and Honest

I Am Diosa is a must listen/read. I am listening to it on Audible and not only is the message deeply loving, but the author/narrator is also pleasant to listen to. The author keeps it real about life things but offers a warm, inviting space to grapple with your process. She is so nurturing.

Down to earth stories

Is not the typical self help book, it is different yet is relatable to women who have had their heart broken. Just have patience with the book as sometimes it seems is going no where. I enjoyed it and would listen to it during my work out.

Love this book

This book has helped me heal & grow so much. I have recommended it to a few of my friends & they love it too. I loved listening to it so much I've ordered a hard copy too.

It takes you on a journey through your past & present so you can mend your old wounds, love yourself & come back to your soul. If you're ready to open yourself up & become your potential/your Diosa' then this is the book for you.
