Weaned on Cole Porter, Nat King Cole, Mick and his beloved Janis Joplin, Tyler began tearing up the streets and the stage as a teenager before finally meeting his "mutant twin" and legendary partner, Joe Perry. In this addictively listenable memoir, Tyler unabashedly recounts the meteoric rise, fall, and rise of Aerosmith over the last three decades and riffs on the music that gives it all meaning.

Wondering if science could explain how he survived his 40-year avalanche of drugs and alcohol, Ozzy Osbourne became one of a handful of people in the world to have his entire DNA mapped in 2010. It was a highly complex, $65,000 process, but the results were conclusive: Ozzy is a genetic anomaly. The "Full Ozzy Genome" contained variants that scientists had never before encountered and the findings were presented at the prestigious TEDMED Conference in San Diego - making headlines around the world.

Sharon Osbourne has lived - in her own words - 'fifty lives in fifty years'. As the daughter of notorious rock manager Don Arden, Sharon's childhood was a chaotic mix of glamour and violence, villains and diamonds. In rock star Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon found her soul mate, yet Ozzy's drug- and alcohol-fuelled excesses - which culminated in his attempt to strangle her - made their marriage a white-knuckle ride from the start; only her devotion to their three children gave her the will to survive.

Publisher's Summary
This audiobook includes an interview with Ozzy Osbourne from 2009.
People ask me how come I'm still alive, and I don't know what to say. When I was growing up, if you'd have put me up against a wall with the other kids from my street and asked me which one of us was gonna make it to the age of 60, with five kids and four grandkids and houses in Buckinghamshire and California, I wouldn't have put money on me, no f--king way. But here I am: ready to tell my story, in my own words, for the first time.
A lot of it ain't gonna be pretty. I've done some bad things in my time. But I ain't the devil. I'm just John Osbourne: a working-class kid from Aston, who quit his job in the factory and went looking for a good time.

Laugh Out Loud & BEST Narration EVER!
I absolutely LOVE this book. It is a well told genuine look into Ozzy's career and private life. I appreciate the candid honesty. I admire how Ozzy is comfortable with being true to himself, even at the White House. A lot of famous peoples memoirs only scratch the surface of their scandal's in effort to protect their reputation. The scandals are usually the reason I buy the book so it's a let down when celebrities sugar coat the truth. Not Ozzy, he lays it all out there and I respect that. Plus, this is the BEST narration. The narrator even sounds just like Ozzy... without the stammer.

Lost all respect at the end
Anyone who grew up listening to Sabbath and Ozzy knew the guy was out there but, wow! I've always loved their music and always will even though Ozzy's stories tend to make him sound like the poor, hapless victim. Sure, he takes ownership of the crap he pulled but does it in such a way that leaves the listener feeling like, yeah, no, he really doesn't. I only watched a couple episodes of The Osbourne's because I don't like reality ruining my image of my favorite Rock legends. Wish I hadn't listened to this book either, for the same reason. I didn't need to know about Ozzy's or Lemmy's thing for Nazi memorabilia. I can take all the gross crap he did but that pushed me over the edge. No room for anyone that finds ANYTHING admirable about Nazis.

Sabbath Bloody Brilliant!
Even if you're not a fan of Ozzy or Black Sabbath (shame!), this is still a fantastic listen! Hilarious, chaotic, compelling, sometimes even heartwarming stories of Rock & Roll insanity. Rupert Farley's narration is spot on, apart from his mispronunciation of Iommi, haha!

Amazing rock memoir!
Ozzy is a legend and this book certainly proves just why. It's fascinating, hilarious, terrifying and eye-opening.
Nothing held back or seemingly exaggerated.
The early Black Sabbath years are really in-depth, the later years are too but things obviously reach a nadir in the late 80s and 90s until the MTV stardom hits.
The narrator does a great job too.
Highly recommended!

Excellent
I was a little hesitant to get this as it wasn't narrated by Ozzy himself but the narrater did an amazing job. I highly recommend this, there are many great stories, i liked chapter 7-9 a lot

Brilliant listen
I was on the fence about the book and thought I would give it a go given the reviews. I did not know much about Ozzy only snippets of a couple of his more sensational acts. What an interesting, funny and at time uncomfortable book to listen too. He has had a truly remarkable and some what interesting life/s... i do not agree with a lot if what he has done but he does acknowledge the ugliness and express regret which went quite a way for me to keep listening, i wont give a spoiler... All in all I really enjoyed his book and appreciate the glimpse he has given about his life and him as a human being.

Loved every minute, they have done everything right putting this one together, from funny to shocking and unbelievable.
