No, New York Times best-selling author, Patrick Lencioni, argues that the seminal difference between successful companies and mediocre ones has little to do with what they know and how smart they are and more to do with how healthy they are.

Orients Companies and Managers to What Really Matters
I listened to Clint’s book at a time when I was at a crossroad with my career. I became a manager for the first time soon after completing it and am grateful for the perspective I received from Clint and team’s insightful research as I began that journey.
In the end, our relationships will be the most valuable possession we leave this life with. “I Love It Here” provides a terrific framework for managers and companies as a whole to utilize in ensuring that team members are treated as the number one priority.
I also found Clint’s personal quest to be the best for the world in something he was passionate about to be particularly inspiring! He’s a role model for where I hope to get to with my professional dreams!

A good read
I appreciated and enjoyed this book. Starting it, I was afraid it would go down the dry path of “just another regurgitated management book”, but it did not do that. Having it written in the time where COVID is a regular word in our vocabulary, I believe it gives realistic messages for how to navigate the current world and leading others. I also enjoyed the questions and challenges presented at the end of each chapter and plan to not only answer those myself but also to share with my team for them to participate in as well.

Must read for anyone interested in leadership
Every now and then I come across a book that I am skeptical about, then get absolutely blown away after reading it. I Love It Here by Clint Pulver is one such book.
This book dives deep into why companies either have good or bad retention rates. The answer is quite simple, if you love it you'll stay. But what creates a culture that allows employees to "love it here"?
Clint created a company called Undercover Millennial to answer that question. I truly believe what Clint does is a game changer as I've seen the impact mentally, physically, and spiritually that wreaks havoc on employees when they don't love it here.
There a plenty of gimmicky books that companies recommend or require their staff to read. Clint is not a gimmick! (which is what I thought at first, sorry 🤣) This book needs to be put in the hands of every mid level manager up through the top bosses of any corporation or business.
Employees: find meaning in what you do, strive to be better, be the change you want to see.
Managers: Show your people recognition, care about the needs of the emploees, be sincere by not faking it till you make it
P.S. if you're into audiobook, Clint read this one himself so it has a personal touch to it

Good - But somewhat repetitive
I have seen Clint in person and he is Phenomenal! This book was a good book, but the content seemed somewhat repetitive. Clint is great at relating real life scenarios to applicable Business Scenarios though. I wish there just a few more of those sprinkled through.
