  • Is it true that you are accomplishing something you love?
  • What are the world requirements?
  • Where are you great at?
  • What's more, what would you be able to get compensated for?
  • How might you live with purpose today, to live a longer and healthier life?

Discover the meaning of your life

What are your passions? What is your mission? What are your vocations and your job? In this audiobook, Ima Shimizu explains the oriental philosophy of ikigai, a different vision of the possibilities for the person but not only, and teaches you what ikigai means and how to find your own!

Ima Shimizu, inspired by the oriental philosophy of ikigai, will teach you practical exercises that lead to the recognition of the values and goals that are truly important for everyone in life, will teach you to recognize what gives us energy, curiosity, positivity, personal fulfillment, trust in ourselves, planning. In other words, what we need to be happy?

Something to live for: A reason to exist.

Ikigai (生 き 甲 斐) is the cross between:

  • What you love
  • What you're good at
  • What the world needs
  • What they pay you for

Ikigai: The secret of longevity.

Did you know that it is the connection between outside and inside that allows the human being to feel in balance and connection with the entire planet?

侘 寂 wabi-sabi: Learning to see the invisible.

The definition of wabi-sabi in physical terms is like explaining the taste of a piece of chocolate, to someone who has never tasted it, through its shape and color. By focusing on physics, one is bound to see only the backside of the brocade, while its true beauty remains hidden. To see its true essence, one must look beyond the apparent, one must look within.

In this evolutionary audiobook you will learn:

  • Why change life perspective?
  • Origins of negative thinking
  • Simplify your life: what does it mean?
  • Meditation techniques
  • The five pillars of ikigai to reconnect with yourself
  • Flow
  • Reach ikigai
  • How to find the reason
  • The concept of wabi-sabi
  • Measuring the ikigai - questionnaire
  • How to find your ideal work with the ikigai method
  • The ikigai diet
  • Exercises to improve your immune system
  • Japanese ikigai exercises
  • Radio taiso exercises
  • Practice Tai Chi Quan to increase longevity

Each of us has our own ikigai, indeed we can have more than one, but the important thing is to find out! Listening to this audiobook you will get the chance to start today, now!

Brilliant

Have listened several times these past few days and passed on to friends. Trying to implement the principles, would love to see how I get on and perhaps write a review post implementation of principles. Great voice over, easy listen. Only reason for rating 5* is because I'd like to put the principles into action and see the results for myself.
