It's not what you know but who you know that matters...and, indeed, how well you know them. The show is a bit like ‘Mr and Mrs’, except that it's not played by husbands and wives. Instead, panellists can pick anyone they like: dad, cousin, best friend, mother-in-law. What is Bridget Christie's worst fear? Or Ainsley Harriott's worst habit? Or Seann Walsh's worst gig? All these burning questions, and more, will be answered in this BBC comedy panel show hosted by Miles Jupp, where panellists are tested on how well they know their nearest and dearest.

Publisher's Summary
A bumper collection of classic fun and games from one of BBC Radio 4's best-loved and most enduring comedy panel games.
The inimitable Humphrey Lyttelton is in the chair for these 36 hilarious editions, collected together for the first time. He presides over regular players Tim Brooke-Taylor, Barry Cryer, Graeme Garden and Willie Rushton, plus guests including Stephen Fry, Tony Hawks, Andy Hamilton, Paul Merton, Sandi Toksvig and Jeremy Hardy.
Hear them having their wicked way with favourite rounds, including One Song to the Tune of Another, Limericks, Sound Charades, Cheddar Gorge and Swanee Kazoo. The teams are helped along by lively audiences from a variety of British towns and cities, and, as is customary on Clue, Colin Sell is at the piano, and the lovely Samantha sits on Humph's right hand.
Also included is a special episode, 'Everyman's Guide to Mornington Crescent', which reveals the full and unexpurgated history of the greatest game on earth; and Willie Rushton's last show, featuring an introductory tribute from Ned Sherrin.
A feast of unrestrained revelry and inspired ad-libs, this is the authentic, award-winning antidote to panel games. Accept no substitutes!

Silly, erudite, irreverent, and brilliant.
I thoroughly enjoy British panel shows, but this self-proclaimed "antidote to panel shows" has got to be my favorite panel show of all time. Only "The Unbelievable Truth" and television's "Would I Lie to You" even come close for me. This is a marvelous treasury of old programs from the series. The wit and humor is wonderful. I have listened several times and plan to listen many more. If you enjoy this treasury, be sure to buy the second volume. Both are well worth a credit.

Lots of fun.
Generally an entertaining listen.
The first couple of episodes are very entertaining and we’re good for a few raucous laughs.
Unfortunately there are a number of episodes to the end when the show was taken on the road that are very repetitive.
I am sure that listening to these episodes once a week would have been fine, but hearing them played one after the other was not as entertaining.

Anyone For a Round of Mornington Crescent?
It's impossible to be in a bad mood after listening to I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue. It's just pure fun. Delightfully unpretentious, playful, endlessly charming. A wonderful combination of erudition and silliness. At least once in every episode they say something that makes me laugh so hard I scare the cat. Scaring the cat funny, is a good scale with which to measure humor.

I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue Treasury
This show is so funny that I sometimes distract my coworkers because I can't keep myself from laughing out loud.
The show's format is similar to Who's Line Is It, Anyway? with the host mediating while the panelists ad-lib responses, finish famous quotes in unexpected ways, sing one song to the tune of another, provide budget-cut or failed movie/book titles, and play games.
I was excited to see recently that a second treasury is set for release in October, 2017 - and I have already pre-ordered it (it's May).
If you like British comedy - be it Monty Python or Last of the Summer Wine - I think you will enjoy this program.

A Real Treasury
Fans of the show will not be disappointed, simply brilliant, Humph is Chairman throughout this collection, so none from the more recent series. Some absolutely classic moments, with Willie Rushton stealing the show in the earlier episodes. Jeremy Hardy and Tony Hawkes appear as guests in the later shows, along with Harry Hill, Stephen Fry and Paul Merton. That's about it for my review, but there's just time for a round of Fisherman's Songbook before I finish....

Good Old-Fashioned British Postcard Humour!
Rarely have I felt more qualified to comment on anything than I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue! Somehow it just sounds like something I can be relied on to discuss with real-life empathy . . .
This is though an absolute delight, I've been listening to them for a while between books and they are a great spot of light relief on tap whenever you just need a bit of silliness to keep you going.
Oh for sure some of it can seem a little repetitive, especially if you binge on it and I could certainly have done without the half hour mockumentary about Mornington Crescent but overall the title has it right. It is a little treasury and unless your sense of humour is either missing or refined above verbal slapstick it's bound to make you smile.
Only note is that of course a fair amount of the humour is pertinent to the time it was recorded so younger listeners might not feel quite so in tune with it. There will still be plenty in there to keep you sniling though.
