Publisher's Summary

Over the years, Connor has pieced together evidence of a mysterious group of aliens who roamed the multiverse and have been to New Earth.

Setting off to make new discoveries about them is straightforward enough, but this is New Earth, and Connor Gates has a knack for finding trouble.

For over 20 years, Connor and Diaz have been friends. They’ve survived two wars and have seen the best and the worst of each other. When a terrorist attack takes the life of Diaz’s son, their friendship will be pushed to the breaking point.

To find who is responsible, Diaz is willing to cross as many lines as it takes. Connor will do everything he can to protect his friend, even from himself. It’ll take everything he’s got to find who is responsible while preserving a peaceful coexistence with New Earth’s inhabitants.

Sometimes protecting your friends is a lot tougher than fighting your enemies.

Great Story

I love this book due to the fact it’s not a world ending continuation of the series, it was exploration and discovery, we need to live and love also beside war.

The books in the series are normally good, except

I really hate it when an author just turns in bla bla for a paycheck. Mr. Aiello normally writes good entertaining work. This is just a simple waste of time on everyone's part. Please! Mr. Aiello, you have an amazing universe you have created! What are you thinking doing a hostage and race hating version when you have so much better material with no limits. You have a complete space opera you could start you have a multi verse to explore you have an expanding civilization with multiple races to grow and you spend almost 8 hours on a hostage book that was poorly done at that. Really! I know I am just a reader but as an author you have a responsibility and trust that people place in you. Please keep that in mind.

Another Awesome Entry

The title says it all. There isn't anything more to really add to the title.

Great transition story

After 2 major wars I was afraid the writer would be finished with this story…. I am glad it didn’t end. There is so much more to explore and FTL would open up even more opportunities.

I really love this book series!
