The Great Escape

In this second book, Belisarius is sent to India on an espionage mission to gauge the Malwa threat.
He will have to learn all he can about the gunpowder weapons, seek out the real power behind the Malwa throne, and most importantly find a way to escape the enemy's stronghold with the information he gathered.

This book is where you get to truly see the cunning of Belisarius. He is always ten moves ahead of the enemy and they won't even know it until it's way... way too late!

Again, the story and military battles are excellent! If you made it to this book, then you will probably finish this great series.

2nd book in series, almost as great as the first

This is the 2nd book in the incredible series about Belisarius in Eric Flint's pseudo-history.

It's almost as good a the 1st, the plot is no less interesting though the description of the naval battle is a bit difficult to follow.

The performance is quite adequate, not incredible but not bungled, all the voices are distinguishable. My only issue is with pronunciation of some names.

A slow burning excellently written & performed!

An awesome story which is so good @ times you'll think it's top 5 but other times it kinda drags... But oh boy, the drags are sooo well done! Kinda like icing on the very best desert, did it need it? No, but it gives much more flavor to the overall desert
Didn't have to think twice, I'm off to book #3
