Story
Ryker only has one goal in his life right now: Turn a certain adventuring guild into a flaming wreck while dancing merrily through the smoldering ruins. All for the chance to get back at a handful of people. It isn’t as if they didn’t deserve it either. They had driven him from his home. Chased him physically from the very guild house itself. Simply because he wasn’t as strong as they expected him to be. As strong as he’d expected himself to be. He’d returned the next day and left with something he’d hidden away and told no one about when he found it in one of his few Dungeon Dives.

Story
Reports to write, forms to fill, coffee to drink, leads to run down. Gus’s life was a tedium and boredom he’d grown comfortable with. One that he sought out after he’d come back from his tour of duty. A detective in the paranormal investigations department. A job he could work day in and day out in relative peace. One cold and forgotten cup of coffee at a time. It was an environment that made some sense to him. At least in comparison to civilian life where almost nothing did. On top of that, it gave him a chance to hide what he was from the rest of the world.

Story
An existence spent being forced to kill others to satiate a Monster. Where the only thing to look forward to was the blessed, if brief, period of time between paying that bribe. Except that very same Monster is and isn’t Rene. It just happened to live inside his own mind and force him to do what it wanted. Rather than being an actual Monster. That was Rene’s entire life until a fateful day changed that. A day that the career as a hitman for hire built on the Monster’s needs will end. Where Rene will be forced to atone for his actions. To be held accountable and judged.

Sebastian Frost’s most recent memory was waking up in a field naked, in a body that wasn’t his own, in a world that definitely wasn’t his own, and three stunning pointy-eared women staring right at him. That and the massive number of sacks full of seeds. Unfortunately, this isn’t even the strangest part of this new life. Hidden inside the farm tools, Steve finds messages. Warner spent his days like almost anyone else. He got up, went to work, answered phone calls in a call center, went home, spent time with his daughter, and went to sleep. Only to repeat the pattern over and over and over. Life was as mundane as anyone could ever fear it to be. Today was the day that all that would change. On this day, his daughter Maya would be nearly fatally injured, plunging Warner into a world of paranormal creatures, monsters, and magic he’d never known existed. The only consolation is that he discovers he’s not quite human, either.

Publisher's Summary
(Minor spoiler and warning at the bottom of the blurb. Please read all the way through.)
Sameerixis, or Sam for those who actually know him, isn’t what you’d call normal.
He’s a door-to-door salesman, of sorts. One that peddles wares, wishes, and whims to anyone willing to pay his prices.
Prices that usually involve a few years of your life, maybe a handful of days, or a single night of pleasure that’ll cost a few hours.
He’s an incubus that solves problems. Mental, emotional, spiritual, material, and anything and everything in between. Sam can provide an answer and resolution.
A one-man shop and service provider.
Or he was. When he had work available to him.
Unfortunately, he’s been unable to work for quite a while, due to the simple fact that he’s been imprisoned against his will by an old business partner.
Except something’s changed.
A portal, a way back to the planes, has opened with his name on it. On the other side isn’t what he wished for nor what he feared.
Sam’s made the choice to go back and start up his business again. From the ground up. In just a moment he’ll make that leap over and into another plane.
Little does he know that with that first step he’ll move straight from the known, to the unknown, then to the inadvisable.
Warning: This novel explores dark subjects, and what people will give up of themselves, and each other, to get what they want. The main character is written as a demon from another plane in a tough situation, and will not make choices that line up with societal and cultural norms.
It contains adult themes and moral ambiguities.
As with my previous work, explicit scenes are found within. It has violence and a harem relationship.

Surprising.
Much more than I expected based on the title and cover. Yes, it does get adult, but there is much more here too. I've been very satisfied by both Randi Darren and Andrea Parsneau in the past, so this was a guaranteed purchase for me. However, I did not have particularly high expectations for the story overall. I knew it'd be fun, but not that I'd truly develop an interest in the characters and their futures. Now, there is plenty of what you'd expect in a book about an Incubus, but it honestly makes light of itself, and the concept of this sort of story, about as much as it leans into it. Each encounter either adds to the character's depths or brings something new into the story. It is not only well done, but I am both pleasantly surprised and looking forward to more.
P.S.
There are hints of other stories the author has written, but nothing that a new reader would miss out on if they have yet to experience Randi's other books. Something to look forward to, if you do end up enjoying this one. Also William D. Arand books, which also contain relationships, but don't go into the details that Randi Darren books do.

Reversed nature
Wonderful story, was kind of worried it'd be along the lines of Fostering Faust since it's another of his dark themed books, but it was rather surprising, touched on one of my favorite themes. Who says the shadows can't be protective, that darkness can't seek out evil, that only light can be good?

Read the book enjoyed it but DAMN did Andrea take it to another level. She makes it so you get sucked into the story. Randi provided the storyboard do you can Feel the Incubus when read by Andrea. At times that's good, other times it can be frustrating because you feel the character's frustration and his pleasure.

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK 😱😨😱... 😑
I don't understand why the fuck this isn't a five-part book series the writing was fantastic the Supernatural characters were excellent and mythologically very accurate a small amount of the voice acting work needed a little bit of help, but just because some voices don't need to be growly all the time. Other than that excellent story great, sex scenes wonderful, action scenes fucking fantastic, character development incredible, why the hell once again is this not like a five-part book series or at least a trilogy ?!?!? Randi Darren get your head out your ass and start writing.

Wow just wow if you can tolerate epic sex scenes and a world of absolute glory then listen. If you enjoy any of the other books from this author you will enjoy this. The Right Protagonist For A Harem Story
Not too much more to say. However...
*Spoilers ahead*
Only that the fact that Sam feeds on the emotional essence provided from orgasms is an interesting take on the whole Succubus/Incubus stealing the life force of their vicims. And that not only is said essence required for him to live, but also that because he burnes through it much faster as he uses his magic gives a further insentive too add move women to the "feed harem". Aswell as creating situations where the quality and quantity of the emotional essence is much greater.

Couldn't do it.
Before I start, I will say that I couldn't finish this book. I kept stopping and starting for lack of interest and boredom. I got about 1/3 of they way through before throwing in the towel. This book is boring. I like William D. Arrand/Randi Darren, but wow, this is by far his worst work.
First off the main character is uninteresting and is one dimensional. The way he is set up makes him doomed from the start. A character that needs sex to do anything gets old very fast. All of the ladies in the story have some intriguing quality that just falls flat and disappoints the more they showcase
The plot is rather simple, build power. That's it. There is some mention of an antagonist, but they are so irrelevant it isn't worth mentioning. There was also a very forced tie into Swing Shift that was kinda cool.
Andrea Parsneau was her usual great self. She can't carry a poorly written story though.
Edit: Second worst work

Just bad all around
I loved Darren's early books but this one is bad. Like another of his I listened to, he overuses words like "rather", "absolutely ", "completely", and "totally". The dialogue isn't good. "Huh", "heh", and "hmph" are used way too much. Also the voices aren't great. The over the top British accent for Sam just doesn't fit the character for me. And the dialogue for some of the characters feels off. I just didn't enjoy this.

Making Demons Boring.
This novel takes relatively good concepts and compacts them down into generic harem trash burgers, Its created in a wag thats meant to follow a formula and sell xes yet it doesn't even do that well. The quasi british voice of the MC was nauseating + the added fact that he is meant to be one of the planar lords yet he has nothing interesting about him other than him being 'betrayed'. There are no stakes as I don't care for any of the characters nor all the they steal in the most non offensive way possible.
Assault a cop? she's not human and shes now part of your harem. things like that occur constantly throughout the book. If the enermy is a woman she is guaranteed to be added to the harem sooner or later unless they are part of the evil imps group.
I don't care to continue the story.
