Publisher's Summary

Have you ever wondered about how some people seem to be so commanding and charismatic with their presence? Have you ever wondered where the power to influence other people comes from? Have you felt invisible and ineffectual in your life, as if people, in general, or, perhaps, even those closest to you, do not care about your opinions? Has this been the case, even though you are quite often the person who wants the best for everyone around you?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, this audiobook is for you!

Inside, you will find all the information you need to become a more persuasive, charismatic, and likable person. What's more, you will find advice on how to use that information to change things for the better!

So often, books about learning to be more persuasive assume that everyone wants to dominate and control their worlds. They assume, so much of the time, that people are cynical, cruel, and just looking for power so that they can start stepping on people.

That is not the case with this audiobook! Quite the contrary, this book will give you a road map to ensure that you are not only capable of defending yourself against bullies, con men, and cruelty but that you are capable of making other people's lives better, too.

In this audiobook, you will find:

  • The secrets to navigating any and all social situations with charisma and swagger
  • Ways how you can embody that perfect mix of friendliness, care, and assertiveness
  • Ways how you can talk sense into your friends and loved ones when they aren't acting right
  • Psychological facts about the secret rules that govern our every decision
  • Exercises that you can follow along with at home for added practice
  • The deep and unexpected ability for persuasion to save the world, one person to person engagement at a time

READ DONT LISTEN

Great book, wish I would have read not listened. Nails on a chalkboard to listen. Needs a new narrator desperately.

Boring AF.

My god. I thought this would provide strategy and information I could actually use. Instead, an old man droned on and on and put me to sleep. So boring and wordy for no reason at all.

A dissertation turned into a book!

The voice isn't what I like at all.
If my life depended on me staying awake, I would be dead during the preface.

informative

I enjoyed this book.

narrator and author do use a lot of big words that are confusing at first but then breaks down the meaning of the material .

ruined by subpar narration

difficult to concentrate on anything being said as the narrators delivery is terrible. His loud breath is also off-putting. terrible
