Horrible Narration

I couldn’t get past the “computer generated voice” that was narrating the book. Maybe the content was OK? I’ll never know. Words were Mis-pronounced. Terrible experience overall for my first audible book.

Be prepared to be annoyed vs encouraged

I purchased this book willing to give it a try as I am very interested in the subject (in spite of the poor reviews). I decided to download the associated PDF to see if I could read along and follow what the author is trying to convey. Unfortunately, this didn't work. The book reads like it was written in a language other than English, was translated using a poor electronic translator software and published without ever being edited. The narrator is quite stilted and is super difficult to follow. I have listened to approximately 1030 books and this book nears the very top of the worst books I have ever listened to or read! Books like this need to be well written and easy to read if the goal is to really help people achieve their health and happiness goals. It is too bad, this is an important topic.

Easy to follow and understand!!!


Life-changing audio book. Just listen to it carefully and obey the tips, you will be living happily. It was so insightful and gave me a lot of hope.

Can't Believe I Paid Money for this

Narrator was terrible... Book was repetitive... Worst listen ever! If it got to explaining the benefits to women over 50, I didn't make it to them. Don't purchase this book!

Terrible!

This book ‘reads’ like it was either translated poorly from a foreign language or written by someone whose first language was not english. There are passages in there that altogether make no sense at all. The narrator sounds like an automated computer voice. Just awful and completely useless.

Written by computer, never touched by human hands!

A computer algorithm (VERY rudimentary artificial intelligence) slapped this together from existing popular works. The only human intervention (hand, eye or brain) was the writing of the title and description. There are no more than 3 paragraphs on the topic stated in the title: Fasting for Women over 50.

Interesting topic, but poor performance

I was very interested, but I could not even finish it. I agree with other reviewers that the delivery was very automated sounding. As I skipped throughout the chapters, I was really disappointed with content as well.

Bad Translation makes some parts unintelligible

A very poor translation. Stilted archaic words. Content may have been good, but it was intelligible in some areas. Somewhat funny at first, but further into the book, trying to understand the language became so frustrating that I decided not to finish. I will return it.
