Publisher's Summary

The story you are about to hear is told from the perspective of Julien, a young journalist in close proximity to a person the Bible calls the “Beast”. Julien will give us a window into the character of the Antichrist and how our last days could unfold according to Scripture’s ultimate plot. This imagined prophetic narrative will also reveal how this coming prince may alter reality and impact humankind - and eventually transform into the most malevolent human in history.

But what can be known about this man? What does the Bible actually say about this nefarious individual? How close are we to his unveiling?

More than a suspenseful mystery, however, this speculative account will arouse your prophetic curiosity, whetting your appetite for more information, more solid biblical food on the subject. And you’ll find that in the last section of the book.

Your imagination and curiosity will soar in this raw, rugged, often shocking account of the rise of the Antichrist.

He is real, my friend. And he is coming.

Horrible Performance!

Unfortunately, a book that would likely rate very high for the story, is totally overshadowed by the most horrendous performance possible. There is no need to even spoil it by attempting to execute all the fake accents. And the execution of those is so horribly inconsistent. In one paragraph the narrator may vary through various accents and even no accent. I'm roughly half way through it and have come so close to just turning it off. The poor performance distracts from the story and you find yourself thinking about that rather than listening to the story. I think I detected "Sean Connery" AND "Hans and Franz" from SNL skits in these voices. I really don't say any of this to be mean spirited. But at this level of the game, I think we all expect and deserve something better than what we are given in this book. This author would be well served to totally record this over, so the message of his book is not silenced by this awful performance. I honestly don't think I can bear to listen any more. I hope if it's redone those of us that bought it get a free upgrade. Sad to say, but it's horrible...only due to the performance.

Great Fortelling

This book tells the Biblical story of the antichrist during the final 7 years of our earth. You need to listen to this story and ask Jesus to rescue you from the sin of the antichrist.

Obviously FAKE accent by Narrator

It’s very distracting and really kind of unnecessary. He is not consistent and it’s a blended mess of different types of accents. So bad.

Difficult listen

I am very interested in the subject matter, however, I will have to finish it in with form as the narration was pretty getting to my nerves. The strange quasi-Transylvanian accents and stammering prose sounded to my ears as though the consonants were struggling to come out. Pleasant enough voice, but the accents were too bizarre.

Great story but...

I liked this story but hated how it ended. I wish the itch in the journalist's hand would have been explained!

Accent Not Needed

As many others have written, I thought the story was good and worth the listen. I did feel however that there was no need whatsoever for the accents the narrator used. Not only was it hard to understand at times, it distracted from the story and left me wondering why they were used at all. If you can get through a terrible attempt at an Italian and Belgium accent, the story itself is a very plausible and easy to believe narrative of an end times scenario.

Not my cup of tea

I understand that the book is from the viewpoint of a journalist. I just feel like the journalist was too clueless. I feel like this book could’ve been a lot more in depth if the journalist would have had a clue about what was actually happening in the world and Any religious background. I feel a little disappointed.

Thought provoking

Very thought provoking and at times disturbing truth. Definitely a worthwhile read and discussion afterward.

Intriguing

This work, though fictional, is quite insightful. It looks at the Antichrist through a fictional aspect that is entertaining and educational. The last chapter is worth the cost of the whole book.
