It exploded out of Somalia and spread across the oceans before anybody thought to look up from their cell phones to see what was going on. The infected breathed the virus into the air around them, spreading it through the cities faster than anyone thought possible. Hospitals were overwhelmed. Police lines crumbled. Quarantine sites disintegrated. Cities started to collapse.

Publisher's Summary
Mike reunites with his wife and his friend, Paul, aboard the Guardian only to find that things have gone from bleak to hellish on Earth. Rampaging hordes of Genogerians plague the planet, as does an invasion from Progerians hell-bent on knuckling under the will of man through their relentless assault. Yet this may not be the worst of it, as an insidious "ally" has lent their support. At what cost can a planet on the brink come back from such desperate odds?
Can Mike and those around him keep things from getting worse while also not tearing each other apart?

Awesome as usual!!
Like the consummate author he is, Mr. Tufo has done it again.
This series is a perfect example of the work of Mark Tufo. I think that the mark of a true master of story telling is being able to start a genre( which this series truly does) and craft it into a work of art. If anybody reads this review, and u are undecided about spending the money, or credits to get it, well, u really haven't expanded your mind, till u read or listen to Tufo

Love book Read why I put one star
Would you try another book from Mark Tufo and/or Sean Runnette?
I have waited and waited, and when I say waited I mean years for him to finish this series. Seriously man just one more book and it could be done. I think it is a shame to keep using the same character over and over just sliding him into a parallel universe, how about finishing the first one?
LAZY
What could Mark Tufo have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Finish the damn series
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Sean Runnette?
No one
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Anger that it is not finished yet and he has monopolized on one character instead of bringing us someone new and fresh.
Any additional comments?
Dude at least finish your first series

Narration Could Have Been Tighter.
The series is still going strong! - I wasn't a fan of Tufo's zombie series but I am thinking about taking another look at it. Sean Runnette has a great voice...(s) although on this recording often times the character voices got a little muddled and overlapped when shifting from one character to another. -- Not a Scott Brick or Bronson Pinchot but still head and shoulders above the rest.

Absolutely brilliant
I love this entire series of books, it it a brilliant story. Action, adventure, alien battles mixed with humor, a lot of sarcasm and impossible odds makes one hell of a great book.
I am a huge fan of Mark Tufo and have read/listened to all of his books and loved them all. The multiple journeys of Mike and many other characters throughout all the different series are always exciting. You get to know and love these people, and in my opinion that's when you know the author is Great. This is a Great author! If you are a fan of this genre, then you have to listen to the Indian hill series and the other of Mark Tufo books. The narrator is as always amazing. Sean Runnette really brings these books to life.
