Publisher's Summary

Mike Bravo. Knights in shining...camo.

Iris:

I live for adrenaline. The thrill of the chase. And because I work for Mike Bravo, a private black-ops firm, it’s my job to go into dangerous situations. But when we’re called in to extract a military team from a hostile situation, the thrill is so much better. Because one of those men happen to be the golden boy from my basic training days.

Brock “Saint” Harlow was a walking Captain America in the flesh. The perfect soldier. Now my boss wants to recruit him, and I can’t wait to rub it in his face that he was rescued by me. The class clown. I’m not called Iris “I require intense supervision” for nothing.

Saint:

Military life is all I’ve known since I was born. I was raised to be a soldier. But when a top-secret mission fails, I find myself suddenly discharged with nowhere to go.

Mike Bravo saved my life, and they want me to join them, but there’s one small problem. Isaac “Iris” Griffin. He’s as irresistibly snarky as he always was, only there’s a big difference this time.

I’m no longer closeted or scared to live my truth. And the truth is, I’ve always wanted him. It’s against Mike Bravo’s rules to fraternize with other team members, and I always follow orders. But something tells me Iris might be worth the insubordination.

Good but not great

it was a fun read and the characters were funny and likeable. The organization and purpose of the mercenary company wasn't very clear, but it wasn't entirely unbeleivable. Normally I adore Cendese as a narrator, but I did not like the voice he used for the team lead - it was jarring.

Enjoyable

The narrators of this book are absolutely awesome and quite frankly lift an okay story to a whole 'nother level. The acting is on point and I actually enjoy listening more than reading these kinda of books. looking forward to the next one.

Left me wanting more!

I loved this so much, Iris and Saint had such unique and refreshing personalities! I just wish there was more meat to the story, I suppose? I hope my review does not influence anyone against getting this book, because it really was so good, and had me laughing out loud many times. I love anything by Eden Finley, and this one did not disappoint in the least. Anything I found lacking resulted from me not wanting the story to end!

Great listen

This was a really good story. Great writing and Superb Narration. Alexander Cendese and Tim Paige really brought the characters to life. Hopefully, there will be more of these Bravo men stories. So well worth the credit and your time to listen....

Great Story, Great Narrators

It’s been a while since I’ve enjoyed an Audible from beginning to end. Lately I have endured a book or simply rolled my eyes at various parts. The overall story, its humor, and characters kept me entertained throughout. Thanks.

Another Eden Fave!

Iris is book one in Eden's new series Mike Bravo Ops.

We first met Iris in Popstar, book one in the Famous series where the team is tasked bodyguards to a popstar. I liked his character. He was sarcastic, witty and unapologetically himself. Definitely living up to his name 'I require intense supervison'. So I was keen to get his story.

Iris is part of a team that extracts a solider after they military team is taken in a hostage situation. Little does Iris realise that the solider they save his Brock “Saint” Harlow, the captain america of his basic training days.

Eden has done brilliantly with Iris' story. Between the plot line and character development he undergoes I was hooked. The sexual tension doesn't hurt either! If you enjoy MM romances then Iris should be on your TBR list. I would recommend reading Famous first, or starting with Fake Boyfriends, then Famous as the series to incorperate the same characters as the series develop. But it's not necessary to this specific series.
