By divine design, rites, rituals, and ordinances are filled with symbolic meaning intended to help us better understand God’s Plan. If we do not understand the symbols, we cannot fully understand our covenants. In this new book, author Alonzo L. Gaskill presents divers ancient and modern rituals which are illustrative of symbols and practices Latter-day Saints may recognize. The ordinances of the Gospel are both the vehicle by which we make covenants and also a means by which God seeks to teach us. This truly unique book will guide you to a richer understanding of, and appreciation for, what you hold sacred.

Publisher's Summary
Hitherto unseen literary evidence reveals a new dimension to Isaiah's prophecy that uses Israel's ancient history as an allegory of an end-time scenario. Isaiah's Hebrew gospel preempts the New Testament by teaching the path through which God empowers his children to ascent to the highest heaven.

It was a solid piece of literature on Isaiah.
A converted Jew writing books evaluating the book of Isiaiah from the perspective of a latter-day conversion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. AKA a Jewish Mormon. It was a good book.

Great insights on the book of Isaiah
I read books to learn. This one did not disappoint.
The explanation of each level of spirituality is a great way to honestly gauge your own progression.
The parallels between ancient Jewish idols and Hollywood and social media of today make a compelling point for each of us to analyze what is most important in life, to ask ourselves what forms of recreation are uplifting to us as individuals and to our families.
I rarely write reviews. I absolutely recommend this book.

Not what I expected but still worth reading
I bought this book because I was expecting it to go over passages of Isaiah and explain them. Instead it just talked in general terms about eternal progression, the cycle of trials, the importance of covenants, etc. There were several things I learned that were interesting and some I didn’t quite agree with.
For example, the author asserts that Christ must have had children because part of the Abrahamic covenant was having seed. This indicates that anyone who has infertility is somehow denied the blessings of children because they have broken the Abrahamic covenant. I suppose this would also implicate anyone who died before having children. As we know little children are not capable of sin and therefore couldn’t break any covenants, this doesn’t make sense. Also the entire world is supposed to be the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve. If Christ had children then this would indicate that there was a group of people who had the genetics of God the Father. That doesn’t seem likely. And in fact is perhaps impossible since we know that only Christ was capable of atoning for sins due to his divine nature. If he had children, others in the world would have this divine nature as well. So I think the author was really wrong on that point.
But again, the book is definitely still worth reading. I was glad to learn that the words Christ uttered on the cross about why hast thou forsaken me, was actually the beginning of a prayer and it was the Hebrew custom that when there wasn’t enough time to say the entire prayer, only the first line was said. Although the prayer starts out with the object of beings for a second it ends in an opposite manner. That makes that incident makes sense in a whole new light.

False
I have not liked Avraham Gileadi from after going to an event where he spoke. He made lots of unscriptural excuses. But since many give him praises I'd thought I'd give him another chance and use one of my credits. In this book he contradicts many things in the BoM and promotes the occult.

this book lowers the role of Christband elevates mans role. A distortion of the word of God which only makes sense once it is realised the studies were Mormon.
