Publisher's Summary

Italian grammar explained!

Italian Grammar is the perfect fit for anyone who is starting to learn Italian.

The audiobook covers all major topics that a student needs to study and provides a lot of explanations, and the information is presented in a clear manner and is easy to understand.

The audiobook is structured into nine chapters, each representing one major topic - for example, nouns, adverbs, sentences, numbers, vocabulary, verbs, and the list goes on.

Aside from the regular lessons, this grammar audiobook also includes exercises, and lots of them.

There is also a chapter for a little test.

Other useful items in the audiobook are the irregular verbs list and the IT-EN and EN-IT glossaries, which makes it easy to check vocabulary related questions.

Learning grammar can be a lengthy and occasionally boring process. It’s not the case when it comes to learning Italian grammar from this audiobook.

The information is structured very clearly; the explanations are short and concise.

The vocabulary enclosed is useful and most of the time thematic, which makes it easy to remember - for example, the expression of time: today, tomorrow, yesterday, year, month, and week.

Another useful feature in this audiobook is the Grammar in Culture section, which presents how grammar interferes and influences the spoken language.

Relevant examples would be the lack of articles when using technology-related words (internet, Facebook, Instagram, and more), using adjectives to describe the weather (Fa caldo - It’s hot) or the usage of the familiar versus the polite address (tu versus lei).

The exercises usually follow each lesson. This way, the information you just heard is still fresh in your mind, and you can test your knowledge straight away.

The structure of the exercises is filling in the blanks, adding the missing ending to words, translating sentences, rephrasing, asking questions, and many others.

great info but where is the PDF

The narrator often refers to the text but there is no PDF. How unfortunate! and it would help greatly if vocab lessons presented english first and the learner needs to say the italian!

Awesome book

This product is awesome for those that are just getting into learning the Italian language, or for those like me who have taken courses in the past, but have rusted skills due to lack of use. Sometimes the hardest thing about learning a language is that you learn it from afar and do not have access to people that you can sharpen your skills with. This book provides a bridge to working to keep those skills fresh through reading stories that not only allows you keep engaged with learning outside of a audio book but also poses questions to help increase your comprehension.

I love this book

I love this book!! But, I do not think this is a book for absolute beginners. I have been studying Italian for a long time with long breaks in between. My biggest problem was that I never had a good book to read to help me deepen my studies. That’s how I learned English by listening books. Finally I found a great book in Italian. Love the summary in both languages and the vocabulary section. To make it even better I just saw the audible version on this book. Really a great tool to learn this beautiful language.

Great Support Materials

I'm enjoying this book. Some of the stories were a stretch for me initially, but the support materials -vocabulary lists, summaries and comprehension questions - help make listening a great way to learn. I find the stories are a good length since they are long enough to create interest and short enough to pervert overwhelm. That makes it easy to review them frequently to cement the vocabulary and examine the sentence structure.

Speak Italian

This book is great! The stories are compelling, informative, and are just the right level of challenging for a beginning-intermediate learner like myself. Several times over the past few days I have found myself remarking not only about how much the stories are helping me learn, but also how engaging they are -- I can't put them down!

Great exposure to real Italian sentences!

I was having a hard time getting my thoughts together when trying to communicate in Italian. I had a decent vocabulary and I knew how to conjugate, but things didn't roll of the tongue very well. Having a lot of common sentences strung together over and over really helped to put common phrases at the tip of my tongue. It's pretty much the way I became proficient at english, listen a lot!

These Dialogue are a great

These Dialogue are well written to be in current situations and issues. I really like that after the Spanish dialog there is the English translation. The phrases are easily used in making up my own dialog for practice.
