Publisher's Summary
Jack is a young, poor boy living with his widowed mother and a dairy cow, on a farm cottage. The cow's milk was their only source of income. When the cow stops giving milk, Jack's mother tells him to take her to the market to be sold. On the way, Jack meets a bean dealer who offers magic beans in exchange for the cow, and Jack makes the trade. When he arrives home without any money, his mother becomes angry and disenchanted, throws the beans on the ground, and sends Jack to bed without dinner.

Fee Fie Foe Fum
This children's classic is wonderfully narrated by Heidi Gregory. It's perfect for a bedtime story for kids, or in my case grandchildren. It would also be a perfect listen in grade school for a quiet time.
I was provided with this review copy free of charge and have decided to leave a review.

Delightful!
This narrator has a wonderful gift for telling fairy tales. It feels like you're a kid again at story time. And that's just me. My kids also now often request stories from her.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Rollicking good time!
I never know what kind of a resolution I am going to get from these old stories. Every one of them is like a miniature mystery. So many have been sanitized more and more for each increasingly sheltered generation that it is really fun to hear the tales original and unvarnished.
This one made me laugh out loud!

B is for Beanstalk (and Buglary)
This is another classic tale narrated excellently by Heidi Gregory. Jack is not exactly a noble character, and is not above begging and thievery. To be fair the giant (ogre in this case) does admit to eating people, so maybe he gets what he deserves. Morals aside its a well-narrated and entertaining story.
I received a copy of this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

Funny and Refreshing
This was a funny and refreshing version of Jack and the Beanstalk, perfect for a bedtime story for your little ones. While the traditional Jack and the Beanstalk wasn't one of my favorite fairy tales growing up, I think it would have been if I'd heard this version. In this story, Jack isn't lazy, he just has his head in the clouds, which makes him very likable.
The narrator had me smiling through the story, it was well done with accents for each character. I requested a copy of the audiobook, and I'm voluntarily leaving a review.

A Wonderful Story
This is a slightly different telling of what I grew up with but lovely to listen to nonetheless. I always enjoy hearing Heidi Gregory narrating. She does a wonderful job with emotions and voice changes.
