Fun story!

My 4 year old daughter as I listened to this on our commute to and from school and then in the way to the cabin! She loved it and could wait to get in the car to listen! Made the long ride so much more enjoyable! The story was fun, entertaining and silly. We love the Monster Inc. and Monster University movies so this was a huge hit! Got to love friendly monsters!!

FANTASTIC! A FAMILY FAVORITE!!!

All of my kiddos loved this audio book set. They asked to listen to it, or begged me to not turn it off. And in true audio book fashion, really encouraged them to use their imaginations. The only reason they ever wanted to stop listening was so they could act it out themselves and imagine traveling to the monster world or the monsters coming here and being able to help them.

Quick listen, Easy to follow, Interesting

Great for younger kids age 4-7. They love adventure books and this kept their attention. It was a rather simple plot but the reader did a decent job at inflection and keeping our interest. It’s not going to win any awards, but it was plenty entertaining and the kids wanted to keep going when it was time to turn off. My kids generally crave action/adventure books, fantasy, and sci-if, and epic tales like The Land of Stories series. This is not at all on that level. I would compare that to Harry Potter and these stories more to something easy breezy and not as detailed like maybe Magic Treehouse, but not educational.
