Return once more to a galaxy far, far away with this sublime retelling of George Lucas's epic Star Wars in the style of the immortal Bard of Avon. The saga of a wise (Jedi) knight and an evil (Sith) lord, of a beautiful princess held captive and a young hero coming of age, Star Wars abounds with all the valor and villainy of Shakespeare's greatest plays. 'Tis a tale told by fretful droids, full of faithful Wookiees and fearsome Stormtroopers, signifying...pretty much everything.

Some great moments
I have brought everything by Finnemore on Audible. I love cabin pressure, and am getting more and more into this. At first I was not sure, then you get used to the style, and lots of it is really laugh out loud funny. I find myself looking at things with John Finnemare voice in my head, which shows how much I like it.

Fun listen - twice now
Enjoyable. I like John Finnemore's work. I listen to Cabin Pressure all the time because it puts me in a good mood and since I know the episodes well, I can still do other stuff and not worry about having to replay a bit to catch some words. And I still smile and laugh.
I like these short stories too. There have been some very interesting characters created since Cabin Pressure and sometimes I wonder if JF will do another longer series again.
I really enjoyed the Security Guard and Receptionist characters, and the nasty and manipulative and shallow office boss character, and the retail store with the Fairy character. It would be interesting to see another long term series using some of the best short story characters.
The voice actors are great - very talented.

Love the Souvenir Programme
I absolutely love the Souvenir Programme, and I think Series 5 is my favorite. John Finnemore uses word play, self-deprecation, and subverting expectations brilliantly. I also appreciate that, unlike a lot of other long-running comedians, John’s humor remains clever and (mostly) free of innuendo.
I highly recommend this show.

Hilarious, smart British humor...
I stumbled across John Finnemore several years ago. (If you haven't heard "Cabin Pressure", please buy it - you are in for a treat!) Funny, smart humor that the family and I love to sit and listen to, whilst sipping tea and munching from our velvet bag of biscuits. Seeing that logic was outlawed in the United States around Nov 2016, this is the perfect balm to cheer our winter and world weary souls. Thank you, Arthur Shappey, from all your fans near Seattle, WA. (Home of le bear noir)

Very funny "traditional" comic writer & comedian
John Finnemore is a National Treasure of radio comedy. He obviously loves the great English ( and American) intelligent comic tradition. 'Hancocks' Half Hour', - 'Sergeant Bilko' - Peter Sellers - Alan Ayckbourn - Flanders & Swann - Tom Lehrer - Pete & Dud - 'Cheers' & 'Frasier' - John Cleese and Co.. But Finnemore contributes his own distinctive brand of humour, doesn't he?.

Heard JF on another book I was listening to; My Teenage Diary, (another, entertaining listen), I looked him up and discovered this .... a fabulously funny find! Reminds me a little of the two ronnies crossed with monty python. Refreshing, original, uplifting, silly and just laugh-out-loud, good fun. Going to work my way through all his other audibles.

Brilliant. Funny and provocative.
John Finnemore really is original. He has a great way of looking at things sideways, and seeing the absurdity in things we take for granted. I laughed out loud many, many times as I listened to this series.
