Got something good in store for me.
So, with it being the beginning of the year, one of my New Years Resolutions has been to finish what I start. I always start projects and have these big, great ideas and grand plans, but I never finish anything and then wonder why my life is still the same. I went on a self help book spree (I really need it) and this is one of the books I got, and it is my favorite so far. It has easy to follow little tidbits of advice, and is a very easy listen. I imagine it’ll be an easy read too, so I just went ahead and bought the paperback book as well to pull out whenever

This is not for the desperate procrastinators
I think this book has a lot of good content but unless you already have self control and will power it will just frustrate. If you happen to have any mental abnormalities like ADD, ADHD, Anxiety issue, depression, etc this might just make you feel more helpless and overwhelmed.

Pretty basic. Good if you're starting from 0.
The book was good, but really focused I'm helping people who are starting from basic zero. If you're in a spot where you hate everything about your life or you are just a complete hot mess, then this is the right book for you. Not quite as practical if you are trying to just improve on a life you're already relatively happy with.

Functional self-help book.
There’s been a trend lately of people just telling it like it is. That’s what I call it “telling it like it is” self help. This audiobook is one of those books. And I have to say, I much prefer it to the dry, boring, self help.

I really loved this informative book with hints of humour. Speckled with proven scientific based hacks throughout the book, there are tools to suit those that need that added extra boost.

I hoped for more
It was entertaining in the end, but I was hoping for a little bit more in the way of psychology and neuroscience. Guess that’s what I get for buying a book from someone who doesn’t have initial written after their name.

For a young audience
If you're over 30, you've probably heard it all before so don't bother. If you're young and need some motivation, it could work for you.

This book has nothing original in this field to contribute. It doesn’t even add to these ideas or give a new perspective. The poor attempts at humour are also painful. Don’t waste your time with this rubbish.
