We get a chance to speak with a non-Karen military wife who doesn't ask people to salute "our rank". We talk about moving around with kids, the home life with deployments, weather warning differences between the two coasts, and also reminisce of the old care-free times with no real responsibilities while getting shitty drunk on any day of the week.

This episode gives a brief explanation about where the show has been the past few weeks and we take a DEEP dive into why I joined the Military and how my career has jumped all over America to this point. I also explain why I made the choice to get out of Active Duty and how we got to where we are.

This week we are greeted by someone from my prior leadership onboard USS Preble, Fire Controlman Senior Chief (Retired) Kurt Morgan.

We discuss some of the unseen tasking that falls on leadership that has impacts on divisions at sea, some of the people that we looked up to and used as examples of how we molded our careers. We also take a few minutes to discuss the Ballistic Missile Warning while stationed in Hawaii, as well as the housing market for those getting out of the military and some more talk of the VA.
