Awesome book
Awesome book to guide my husband and I on our Keto adventure. I wanted this to be a healthy journey and a lot of the things that I was reading was encouraging not so healthy fats. I am vegan and have tried to go keto in the past and failed due to lack of information. Before purchasing I messaged the author and asked if there were vegan recipes other than "dessert or snack type" foods and she told me that 42% of the recipes were either vegan or had an option to be made vegan. I LOVE this book! Though it does not include a meal plan for vegans specifically, the amount of information included in the book allowed me to create my own vegan keto meal plan. It also has a lot of helpful advice on how to deal with issues that may arise as your body transitions from sugar burning to fat burning. This book is so easy to read that it makes it possible for anyone to be keto!

If you are planning on making the ketogenic diet a lifestyle, you NEED this book! Typically, when I think of a "diet", I think of a short-term restrictive eating plan -- it's dreaded, not easy, restrictive, and I can't wait for the "30 days to be over"! Leanne gets that! She shows you how to make eating keto easy and rewarding for the long term. Having suffered with disordered eating in the past, she knows the triggers. I've been following Leanne Vogel (the author) since I started this way of eating back in January 2017. This is a very considerate and complete book on eating Keto. Far beyond a simple list of Keto recipes, it actually teaches you: the theory of the diet, the preferred foods and their relevant dietary info, how to shop for the foods, different dietary strategies geared to different physiologies and goals, meal plans for each strategy, and a complete variety of recipes. The layout is great with recipe photos, cross-references everywhere, and iconography supplying a ton of information in a very concise fashion. It's the perfect book to complement the books that explain the theory, biological processes, supplementation, and scientific studies backing a Keto diet e.g. Bulletproof.

I have thoroughly enjoyed Leanne Vogel on YouTube
I have thoroughly enjoyed Leanne Vogel on YouTube and her Healthful Pursuit podcast, so I was very happy to see she had this book coming out. I pre-ordered it and am so happy with it I've ordered a 2nd copy for my cousin. She comes across as a very warm person and she is very passionate about nutrition. The first recipe I tried (balsamic turkey thighs) were just amazing, I'm excited to try more. I'm even more excited to see what my cousin thinks! Eating keto has helped me lose 30lb so far, I'm halfway there and feeling so much better.

Great Book
This book is phenomenal! I have made 15+ recipes and all of them have been amazing. There were so many of the recipes that I was genuinely skeptical about because of the combination of ingredients and my past experiences of cooking with them, but Leanne has a great palate for cooking, especially for such a niche diet! I love that her recipes are completely dairy free, because as a keto-er you can get pretty inundated with cheese and cream, which is tough on my body (personally). And she also doesn't rely on eggs for everything, which is so nice as well! Though she doesn't completely omit them.
The sections explaining the actual diet are very clear and well organized.
I highly recommend this book if you are interested in the ketogenic diet!

Amazing
Wasn’t sure what the Ketogenic Diet was, but after absorbing the information, I feel more knowledgeable. This is a great reference guide, so happy recipes were included; I look forward to trying them with family.
