Publisher's Summary

Are you struggling to help a child with ADHD?

ADHD can be rough to deal with as an adult, but it’s even worse when you’re a child. Children don’t often understand what they are going through and why they cannot concentrate and focus like other children. Which is why they need their parents and other adults in their lives to be able to explain it to them.

This book will teach you everything you need to know to help a child with ADHD and answer any questions that they might have. But more importantly, it will help to answer any questions that you might have.

What will this book teach you about ADHD?

  • Signs that your kid might have ADHD
  • Understanding ADHD
  • Nutritional guides and interventions for children with ADHD
  • How to get kids prepared to excel at school when they have ADHD
  • What type of activities are good for children with ADHD
  • Coping and management skills
  • And much more!

By educating yourself about childhood ADHD then you will be better prepared to help your child or any child in your care that is going through the same. More importantly, it will teach you how to spot the symptoms so that you can start putting systems in place and educating your child about ADHD before they start to fall behind in school and in life.

ADHD doesn’t have to hinder your child from having a normal, healthy life. In fact, by educating yourself now and taking the proper steps, it doesn’t have to change their quality of life at all. If you are ready to give a child in your life their best chance of success while living with ADHD, then you need to get this book.

Great for younger kids

I found this book to be very helpful for my 7 year old son just starting grade 3. It's very straight forward and simple for both children and parents to understand and filled with activities you can do together to understand ADHD.

Great for morale, lacking in treatment

Insightful and helpful in portraying ADHD as a gift that has helped mankind throughout the ages.... I would have liked to hear a bit more about Inattentive ADHD, which is a bit different and requires different strategies to harness.

Crucial to understanding your ADHD child - makes p

Outstanding. This book was a key resource for us in understanding how the ADHD mind works, and thus, how to guide it in a way that sets him up for success. It also does a great job of reminding us how many ADHD characteristics can be seen as strengths instead of as flaws. I strongly recommend this book to parents of ADHD children, and I'm actually looking forward to reading it again!

Good information for parents of children of ADHD

Informative and helpful. The first few chapters of the book were of more value than the latter part of the book.

Surprised at the rating!

Find a good specialist. Don't pick a bad one. Consult a doctor and follow the prescriptions. If they don't work, tell the doctor and try something different. Check kid's health through and through, feed them well-balanced organic food and all the dietary supplements available. And work hard, work really hard! These are all the author's recommendations :(
