Publisher's Summary

Protect and serve has become protect and rule.

There's a new sheriff in town. Rob has survived the first few weeks. He still doesn't have any magic but all his training has led to a new ability. The prompts call it cultivation, but no one seems to know anything about it. So far he can use it to make himself stronger, faster, better but it's a lot of work.

Now he has to juggle the many responsibilities of the sheriff as he tries to make Yonderton a safe place for all the people looking to him.

Speaking of juggling, he has to sort out the bunny girl clerk, the foxkin deputy, the secretive elven alchemist, and the would be father-in-law who is intent on Rob marrying his orc daughter.

Just another day for the sheriff.

The damn interludes

Why the damn interlude they do not a damn thing to move the story forward
The mc gets caught up in thinking to himself no wonder everyone escapes
When the story covers more on a workout then crime fighting there is something wrong it could have been so much more

another boring second book

the plot is interesting in the first book and it doesn't kill you with sexual situations. the second book is basically nothing but sexual situations it's almost a complete left turn from the first book. the interesting sheriff's office building stuff and even the boring monotonous cultivation stuff is overshadowed by constant sexual innuendo and ridiculous situations I just can't happen to a real person. I don't know this book subverts my willingness to follow along with it no matter how hard I try. if you just want to power fantasy about a guy who owns hot animal chicks and this is the book for you that's all that really happens in it

great book

So I'm really enjoying this series because I am honestly tired of an overpowered main character and I like the fact that he has to grind in order to gain strength.. Another thing I like is how he doesn't rush with sleeping with every woman is actually nice that hes trying to develop a relationship and get to know them beforehand and not just sleep with every single Chickie sees so personally I like the approach that the author took I also like the little Justice League and pi and pop culture referencesSo I'm really enjoying this series because I am honestly tired of an overpowered main character and I like the fact that he has to grind in order to gain strength.. Was Worth Sticking With

Definitely glad I stuck through some of the slower parts in the first book. As the story builds it has gotten more interesting.

too many intermissions

I truly enjoyed the first book because it did a lot to set the base of the story. unfortunately I struggled with the second one for too much interlude into side parts of the story that as of right now do not affect the main storyline. As well as too much concentration on the continuation of the main characters bodybuilding exercises.

Book 2 just gets better! Definitely 5 stars!

Our intrepid Sherriff of Yonderton is still having problems with the Boy Bands, I mean gangs. They are continually stealing girls from the town and surrounding area and shipping them off to parts unknown.
This has to be stopped.
Sherriff Rob is trying to get the hang of the customs on this new world and the fact that just about every single woman on the frontier is trying to get a job in the Sherriff's office.
There's a never ending list of stuff to take care of.
Trying to get his stats up to where he's not just going to survive but kick some major boy band/gang butt.
Handling all the women in his home and in his life.
Building up the town...
If you like harem LitRPG and a great story and series, you will love this book.
I highly recommend it. 👍👍

Depth

Was a great continuation of the first book. One thing to note is the recurring Phrases and reuseage of the same lines. Does get a little stale with descriptions of the characters. However It deepens the understanding of all characters and developments of the events.

mc win a fight, skip interludes

this entire book I would like to see mc win a fight by himself without be half dead or fainting, u making seem like a side character. interludes add nothing to story and don't push it forward skip them waste of time.

Family comes first

I laughed at the play on words in this book and the pop culture references. I enjoyed the progression and there was definitely some steamy sex scenes too. It definitely has unconventional relationships, but the author did well in creating almost believable dynamics between the various love interests. I look forward to the next audio installment. Please hurry in releasing it for eager fans like me
