A GRIPPING STORY... BUT A CLIFFHANGER ENDING

This book follows on from King and Tyrant which is where I first met and fell for Bear who is a sexy badass Alpha Biker belonging to his Father's Beach Bastards MC but decisions were made and he chose to walk away from his Father, the Brotherhood and the Club. Bear was fully aware that he'd just become a dead man walking because that's the only way you left the BB MC. At the start of this book he was drowning himself in blow, booze and willing babes because he was a broken, tortured and violated man now just waiting for death to knock on the door but instead his phone rang.... and one phone call changed everything.

Sweet, innocent 17 year old Thia held a promise ring given to her by a handsome Biker when she was just 10 years old and the promise was that if ever she needed a favor in the future then she should come and find him. His name was Bear and for 7 years she kept that ring on a chain around her neck never believing she would ever use it. But, one sad, heartbreaking and bloody day Thia did just that.... she went to find Bear and cash in her favor but at the Beach Bastards MC Bear was gone and all she found was a terrifying nightmare dished out by the evil and sadistic hands of their Prez.... Bear's Father.

This started a chain of events that had Bear and Thia reluctantly thrown together, they initially verbally taunted and sparred with each other as the sexual sparks flew, they were hunted trapped and killed to save one another, they claimed each other in a possessive, sexual and all consuming way, they fell in love and then they were ruthlessly torn apart by one of T M Frazier's torturous twists. And, if that wasn't enough, there was an even bigger shock and twist as she so cruelly leaves the book with a humdinger of a cliffhanger.... and the promise that all Hell is about to break loose.

This isn't a romance, it's a claiming.... but even so it's still a poignant love story between two broken people who are desperately trying to save each other but are sadly failing. It's dark, gritty and raw and there's no flowery pretty words instead the words are tortured, possessive, lewd, crude and intense..... but nevertheless they still say "I love you". This listen is riddled with suspense, tension, danger, sex, passion and the absolute assurance that everything is gearing up to explode in the second part of their love story where Bear will have to fight.... fight to be free, fight his vengeful ruthless Father, fight the BB MC, fight to keep Thia safe and fight for a HEA for them both. Told from both POV's, includes well loved characters from books 1 and 2 and both narrators did a great job.

Worth a credit? T M Frazier certainly knows how to write a tense, addictive and gripping dark love story with twists... and I fear this is just the storm before the tsunami that is about to be unleashed when book 4 in this series is released - and I can't wait. YES it's absolutely creditworthy if you like your Heroes primal and your storyline shades darker than normal. But I only wish I knew beforehand that this was going to end with a cliffhanger because I dread and avoid them at all costs until the full story can be enjoyed all in one go - so now you've been warned.

Read King first... It's not needed but you will understand Bear's story better. Can't wait for the next book in the series to come out on audibles

love, Love, LOVE This Series ~ Can't Get Enough!

T.M. Frazier builds on the amazing MC world she created in Kings story, and takes the listener on another ride full of danger, betrayal and passion. I really enjoy her writing style, dialogue, suspense, twists and the little humor she weaves in, but what really make these stories awesome are the characters. They are well developed, unique, strong and you can't help but to fall in love with them.

Molly Glenmore and Rob Shapiro performance was Oscar worthy! They really nailed the tone of the story and delivered on all the emotions, steam, and grit. I'm a fan of this duo!

Well worth the time, credit or sale! Highly recommend for any MC fan who loves their stories with a dark edge and even darker characters. Can't want for the next amazing ride.

Bear and Thia

A great addition to the series, Bear and Thia's story is another that I could not stop listening to. Just as gritty and dark as the previous ones, it does have heat, passion and love. Bear is a hero we can love despite his faults and a heroine we fall in love with along with Bear, a good match for him, Thia is strong and wise for her young age and after learning more about her life, a survivor. We get to see King and Doe again and Grace, she is a hoot. Preppy has his cameos, still talking to Bear in his head. I still mourn his death in book 1. What an ending... I am glad the next book is available because Ms. Frazier likes to hook her readers then keep them in suspense a bit too much LOL yet again I was like "you can't just end it there with that bombshell!!!"
Again, Ms. Glenmore, whose voice I adore with Mr. Shapiro, whose voice I discovered with this series and come to love, do an amazing job giving life to each character with their own voice. I can't wait for book 4.

The AMAZINGLY talented TM Frazier has once again taken me on an adrenaline filled ride pumped full of action, twists and dark humour!! I inhaled this book within a day and can't wait to start the next one because WARNING! - this does end on a cliffhanger!! I absolutely LOVED this story about Bear and Thia's journey that isn't all sunshine and rainbows and that's what I adore about Ms. Frazier's writing - she doesn't hold back - it's dark, raw, gritty, and oh so nail bitingly good!!!!! The plot is unpredictable; the action is fast paced; the narrative is addictive; the chemistry between Bear and Thia is scorching, animalistic, needy and raw!! Another UNPUTADOWNABLE book!!!!! The narrators with this book and the previous books are OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING!!!!! So much passion and emotion with their narration!!!!

SPOILER ALERT!!!!! SORRY, TO GOOD TO KEEP QUIET!!!

I have read/listened to every book in this series. This book was as great as the first two books. was a lot disappointed in the fact that the next book isn't out yet. But thankfully I only have a few weeks to wait and have pre ordered the next book to get the conclusion to Bear and Thia's story. This is one of my favorite series I've listened to. Not so patiently waiting till the next book. One of my favorite parts is the fact that though Preppy is dead he is still a main character and still putting his two cents in even from the grave. I don't think it would have been as good as it was without Preppy to still be everyone's conscience. only 16 more days until I binge read Soulless. hopefully still two narrators. To hard for a female to pull off such an alpha male character. I might even like Bear better than King. yup I said it. Another amazing book by T.M. Frazier. quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Spoiler alert.... Mom is Not dead. didn't see that coming.

BEAR GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!

I wasn't sure I could love another after King, and then here comes Bear trying to give sexy King a run for his money! Gritty, romantic, and raunchy are just a few of the words I'd use to describe this story, and definitely Bear's and Thea's characters. I enjoy the raw & unfiltered way that T.M. Frazier writes. Just like King, Lawless will gut-punch you, and you'll love every minute of it.

you can judge a book by its cover!

Ermagherd! the performers in this were amazeballs! I could listen to Rob Shapiro read the phone book. the story was intense and had me gripping my wheel while I was in the road. love it!
