Was skeptical at first

In reading the first couple of chapters I thought this was just a rehash of Jocko’s previous books and his material well known via youtube, podcasts etc.

On getting further into the book I realized I was wrong. So many situations from my own professional life were called up in this book and solved so simply in a way that only Jocko knows how. This book was entirely relevant and very powerful for me.

Thanks Jocko for being a huge influence on my life.

good leadership book

accountability is key. jocko highlights what a leader is required to do and strategies to help you achieve outcomes as a team 1st

a little military based, tho can apply strategies in business and in everyday situations

Leadership 101

This book should be mandatory for all those going into or that are in leadership positions. Jocko is always straight to the point, and the book is easy to understand and implement into daily life for the good of the team!

Engaging, Straightforward, Applicable right away

Easy to follow and use right away in all types of situations. Jocko Willink always delivers new and detailed ways to handle team settings and self discipline as a leader or follower, Informative from start to finish with no inflated garbage or annoying self promotion which a lot of narrators can't help but do on Audible. Will definitely listen to time and time again!
