Publisher's Summary

Leadership is the ability to inspire and motivate others toward reaching a common goal. Leaders hold a crucial responsibility in the success of a team. With the energy and the inspiration they inject into the dynamics, teams are driven to perform at their best.

Contrary to what most people believe, leadership doesn’t come from a position, a title, or even a crown. It is not who you are that makes you a leader. It’s what you do, and more importantly, it’s how you do it. Each time you make a decision about your life, you practice leadership. You actually become a leader each time you influence someone toward a certain path. Through this audiobook, you will learn the true definition of leadership, the common misconceptions, and the most valuable qualities of a true leader.

An easy-to-follow, easy-to-stick-to, truly simple approach to learning how to become a great leader that eliminates the complexity and tendency to leave listeners wanting more. If you can understand a traffic light, you can understand and apply this simple information without hard work, embarrassment, or failure.

This book will expand your mind and stimulate your own personal growth.I actually used this as a text in a class on how businesses work. Students found it understandable, and one of the best features of the book is that it gives advice on how to move toward and away from people who can help you or drag you down in a business setting.Highly reccomended.

One of the best books I've listen

The authors have updated their classic leadership book to address all the current challenges leaders face today in a world of growing distrust, the resulting loss of credibility at the executive levels, relationship building, retention of top talent, leading through disruption and change.

Good read - anything by HBR is solid as they!!!!

I've listen a lot of leadership books, and this one is truly a game changer. I first came across the concept of above and below the line when a colleague introduced me to a short video from the Conscious Leadership group called: "Locating Yourself: A Key to Conscious Leadership

Great Book for All People, not just Leaders!

However, having studied this book, gave me some comfort, as it helped me to realised why I made the mistakes I made and how to go about crafting a change process. From personality issues to be mindful of, to practical tools to master to be an adaptive leader, this is the best book I have ever read thus far.

A Powerful Guide for Future Leaders!!!

An essential reminder that employees are humans not just resources and are most likely to engage, think and perform their best if managers relate to them as "persons" and treat them with basic respect.I found this book valuable for my own research on Lincoln that I used in my recent leadership book. It is useful for anyone who wishes to be a leader of all times and ages.
