The native speaker is too fast

The native speaker is too fast and you can't understand what he is saying. The words run together.

PDF Download is the lesson-beginning vocab

This was way better than there spam they advertised as audio lessons. This had an actual vocab list with images you can print out as flash cards as vocab just like it says. It comes with 3 sentences to use the word in as well. The audio portion only gives the spanish way of saying the words (not the sentances). It is hard to keep up with.

Easy to understand

The speakers spoke clearly and slow enough to understand and repeat,The words where everyday words , not just words for traveling and reservations ,

Good program, but...

This was a good program however there are some cons:
1. The Spanish speaker spoke too quickly and did not separate the words enough for me to be able to understand each word.
2. The English speaker spoke too soon after the Spanish speaker, not giving me enough opportunity to repeat each phrase that the Spanish speaker just said.

You can't understand the Spanish Speaker

I know this is free, but even with quite a bit of Spanish knowledge, I could not understand much of what he was saying. For learning, I recommend Michel Thomas.

good sample

anothing crazy, just English and Spanish words read in order. Good way to sample vocabulary variety and get into the idea of committing to the language.

Good resource for beginners

This is a great resource for individuals who are learning Spanish for the first time. It was boring to me since I already knew most of the words. I also listen to books on tape while I run and this book on tape has adjunct visual lessons, which I obviously was not able to view while running. But if you are a beginner who is willing to sit and listen, it should be a great way to build vocabulary but not necessarily a wonderful way to learn how to put together sentences. The narrators simply repeat a variety of vocabulary words according to category (e.g. body, food, animal).

Learn Spanish

This was good for hearing the words spoken in Spanish properly. But not so much in teaching the words as just listening to the spoken sentences.

Not if you want to learn

Nothing more than random words spoken in English and then said in Spanish. If you are interested in learning, buy something else.

Dreadful!

This must be the worst way of learning a language I have ever come across. If listening to random words and short sentences that have no link is your thing, then go ahead and buy it.

I am used to the Pimsleur method of listen and repeat with the words broken into chunks for correct pronunciation. This along with their excellent going back over to earlier learned content helps with memory recall.

For absolute beginners this course is terrible. What is the relevance of ‘The new house is in the corner’ when starting a new language.

Definitely not recommended.

Terrible

Worst I’ve ever come across. A beginner has no chance of catching the too faster spoken pronunciation.

Too Fast

The Spanish pronunciation is spoken too fast and moves on too quickly. I have other language audio books and these are far better than this type.

Just words repeated twice.

I did not enjoy it - it was just words first said in English, then repeated twice in Spanish. Not interesting or very helpful.

Impossible to understand

It’s hard to understand the Spanish man talking, he talks too fast, I can’t understand if words are beginning with ‘b’s or ‘v’ so will never be able to learn and replicate, he just says it and you’re expected to hear it and repeat, but when it’s said that fast I certainly couldn’t. Very disappointed.

Misleading information

I bought this book to revise my vocabulary and found some misleading translations. Some words can be translated in several ways and thus is not made clear, leading learners to make mistakes. some of the grammar is inaccurate and I found the pronunciation too clipped.
If you are just starting to learn, this is not a good reference book.
