Story
Many people are becoming increasingly conscious that we are entering a unique phase of human history. Some are terrified. Some are predicting cosmic doom on the near horizon. Others are making astonishing predictions. What does the Bible really say? Eschatology (the study of “Last Things”) is among the most challenging avenues of study, even for the most sophisticated. What are the “real” End Time events? What is the most preposterous doctrine in Christianity? Does the Church go through the Great Tribulation?

Daniel had the most incredible career imaginable; he was transported as a teenage captive to a pagan empire and became the primary confidante to the ruler of Babylon. When Babylonia was taken over by its enemies, he rose to the second or third position in the Persian Empire. Story
Revelation is a lens that puts the entire Bible into focus. The lens is focused on the person of Jesus Christ, and his destiny is imminent. This is a book of victory: We are overcomers! We are the ultimate winners in the game of life! (I read the ending: We win!) One of the reasons this book strikes us as strange is because of our lack of understanding concerning the Old Testament. The Book of Revelation consists of 404 verses that contain over 800 allusions to the Old Testament. These are detailed, along with Chuck's analysis of the design and structure of this fascinating book.

Story
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16. Because of its emphasis on "the Love of God" and Jesus' being the incarnation of that Love, many believe this gospel is the most important for new and old Christians alike to take to heart. Written by the "disciple whom Jesus loved", the book of John is organized around seven miracles, seven discourses and seven "I AM" statements. This study is so deep "an elephant can bathe in it, and yet an infant can wade in it."

Romans is the definitive statement of Christian doctrine - the most comprehensive book in the New Testament. Its impact on history is unequaled. This is the first in a trilogy (Galatians, Hebrews) on Habakkuk 2:4 - "the just shall live by faith" - which later became the mantra of the reformation. It has an international outlook: As a Roman citizen, and with both Hebrew and Greek culture of history, religion, philosophy, poetry, science, music, etc., Paul's Epistle to the Romans is the most profound writing that exists anywhere.

What happens when you die? We don't like to think about death. It's not a pleasant subject, and we avoid even discussing it seriously or giving it any diligent study. Yet our appointment with death is the most certain event in our future. We all know of personal examples when death has come suddenly to people, without warning, without preparations; car accidents, stray bullets, unforeseen strokes. When it comes our time, what do we expect death to be like? How will we enter eternity?

The book of Ezekiel contains some of the most incredible prophecies in the Bible, including detailed description of a nuclear war and the cleanup afterward. Ezekiel ministered to a nation experiencing judgment for its sins, and may have some lessons for us today. Ezekiel's name means "God strengthens, or God will strengthen". Ezekiel is one of the three that were called Captivity Prophets (the other two are Jeremiah and Daniel). Ezekiel never mentions Jeremiah in his writings, but he does mention Daniel three times.

Story
"Luke Volume II", often called "The Acts of the Apostles", completes the "Pentateuch of the New Testament". The traditional title of this book is, in some respects, a misnomer: It primarily deals with the "acts" of Peter and Paul. It really should be called "The Acts of the Holy Spirit". This review will explore the continuing mysteries of Hag Shavuot in Acts 2; the surprises in the history lesson Stephen gives the Sanhedrin in Acts 7; the controversies dealt with in the Council of Jerusalem in Acts 15; and more.

Couldn't stand to listen to the orator.
The material provided is great. The text itself is interesting and informative. I'm sure years of study went into this piece. However, I couldn't stand to finish it. I have fairly severe misophonia, and the speaker smacks his lips so much I began to feel like I was seriously going to put my fist through a wall. It's almost every sentence! How dry is this dude's mouth?!? It's an unreasonable reaction, I know, but if you are agitated by mouth sounds even a little, then I strongly suggest you get the kindle version and just read this one. I'm about half way through and it's worth the money.

The presentation of the Bible synopsis in this book is a compliment to the study of every one of the books in it.
I thank God for this author and the wisdom he has shared with his exhaustive study made simple enough for the average person to get insights into the plan of creation and salvation.
Excited to continue in the Word of God and build on the knowledge foundation provided by this book and revealed mysteries there in.

Very little focus on the bible
I’m sorry but the first two hours completely annoyed me as I found myself asking the audio book to talk about the bible and not random facts and scientific data in a tumble over each other as fast as Chuck Missler could speak them. His enthusiasm is obvious but he speaks too quickly so as to tumble over certain phrases. I gave up after two hours because I wanted to learn about the bible and not 10 dimensions, randomness not being randomness and other nonsensical things that would not help me understand the bible. I understand there are other heavens but why refer to them as us living inside a virtual reality computer generated matrix, nonsense.

What a Treasure!
I'm so glad I found this book on Audible. I learned so much about the OT. The events & characters in the Old Testament are so colourful and interesting but I have a lot of questions. This book helped me understand the stories and the character of God in greater depth. I will suggest to listen one hour at a time, don't hurry. Give time for reflection and let all the information sink in.
This is a treasure of a book. I discovered so many hidden gems in the OT. I love it even more now. As the author says "The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed, and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed." Thank you Chuck Missler, someday I will meet you in heaven. I can certainly listen to this book over and over again and surely will discover more treasures.

I have listened to this several times and I still find (the sadly, late) Chuck Missler's enthusiasm infectious. There is so much detail, and interweaving of the old and new testaments, that it is a treasure to hear. Thank you Chuck.
This is one of my favorite audio books. I now know to take the Bible seriously. And I now know how it all points to Christ, Jesus.

Bad science
Chuck incorrectly uses and misinterprets science facts. He believes that a lack of understanding proves that something is false. He flatly states that the oceans are a few thousand years old.
