Story
I never believed in the whole “light at the end of the tunnel” folly where people, after having a near-death experience, would startle awake in a cold sweat exclaiming, “I saw the light!” But there I was, in this so-called “tunnel” facing a glaring light, when the last thing I remembered was sleeping in my room - the royal bed-chamber, as others called it. Had I died? If so, how? King Grey once benefited from unrivaled strength, wealth, and prestige in a world governed by martial ability but now finds himself reborn in a society dominated by magic.

Carl was a regular construction foreman. Not the worst, not the best, and definitely not the thinnest. Even so, he didn't deserve that heart attack! He really didn't deserve being reborn into a dog-eat-dog world as a dragon. To be fair, it’s nice to be at the top of the food chain. Now Carl just needs to learn how magic works, which monsters are safe to eat, and why his hoard is so important to him. Dealing with change is hard enough, but he has enemy dragons incoming, hostile environments, and foes constantly trying to get bragging rights by taking down a dragon.

Just one semester until graduation, and I died saving a little girl. This wasn't the end, though, as a deity chose me to save another world. I woke up in the body of Kupiec Aiden, in a world where magic was real. Unfortunately, unlike many isekai novels I've read, I retained none of his memories, and had to learn everything. His family took me in, and I recovered from his sickness before learning about magic, or Aether as they called it.

Sooo freakin good...
I loved this book. I listened and re-listened to the first book so many times I was both looking forward to and worried about the new book. The next one could have gone as so many have before where they stretch it out or add some narrative that just ruins it but I can honestly say the author surpassed the first book. Loved it and the only worry I have is how long I have to wait for the next one..... seriously if you enjoyed the first one don’t hesitate you will love this one.
Anyways please buy it, I want this author to make lots more and as soon as possible!!

not great epic fantasy.
I really enjoy these kind of books. If you're looking for something like Stormlight Archives or Song of Ice and Fire look elsewhere if you're looking for a fun simple fantasy series this is good. very simply written quick read and the story moves along very very fast everything I'm looking for. similar to King's Dark Tidings if you're aware of that series. in the sense of it moves in the direction that you would like it too. just an enjoyable series.

could have been much better
The narration is on point and the plot is great but there is no character development. The author "tells" the tale with a ton of repeat statements and a few bland tidbits of dialogue, but completely fails to "show" the world or it's characters. I was unable to immerse myself in this one. If not for the awesome narration, I would have returned it.

Sweet googly moogly!
Yeah, I know. The title's not the best, but hear me out, here.
I read a couple of reviews, and they said that the story sacrificed character development for multiple side-characters and an overly expansive setting. I have found this to be wrong. The setting is fantastic, just as one would expect from a Fantasy story. The characters are amazing, and I love every single one of the main characters. I even appreciated hearing things from the villain's perspectives even as I wanted the hero(es) to come along and stomp a mudhole in 'em. The concept is one of those wonderful ideas we all enjoy reading manga about, or thinking about as daydreams, but the Main Character is limited enough, and makes mistakes with incomplete data enough, to make him human and relatable. The other characters are amazing, the performance of the Narrator is engaging (Even if I swear to god I think he just read typos in the script straight as they were written... Those typos were minimal, btw.)
I binged this and the previous publisher's pack in less than 3 days, pausing only for work-related needs, and for sleep (Which got put off by several hours, I'm ashamed to say.) I hated pausing it, I wanted to know *more.* I wanted to find out what happened. And I still do. I'll be watching for the next audiobook.
My ONLY problem? Is that given that both of the audiobooks are publisher's packs containing two whole books, and are 11-13 hours? This means each individual book is short enough that it'd not exactly be a long read, or a long listen, with each individual book. And this means that until book 6 comes out, the next publisher's pack wont be made.

The world revolves around one man
This book can't go three sentences without stroking the ego of the MC. I'm surprised that his bowel movements aren't saved and categorized for posterity; what am I saying of course they are it's just not explicitly stated. The only world building you need to know is that this entire universe revolves around the MC. Everyone is incompetent and is just waiting for the MC to arrive to fix everything. The MC already has all the answers and his only complication is finding the time to fix your life for you. Everything is simple wish fulfillment with absolutely no substance.
Still rating this according to the quality of the stories available on audible it's one of the best; as much as a three star average story can be.
There are some positives. There are no harems and uh.... hmm. There is a positive.

Good premise but Awkward writing
The story is ok and but the awkward writing is really a splash of cold water in the face when trying to get sucked in to the story.
Words get repeated a lot. Things like “you guys” and “dogs of the empire” seem like the go to phrase across every person in the book. Other times what and how things are being said doesn’t match what kind of person is saying it. Overall, liked the first one but this is hard to listen to and I probably won’t get the next book.
I think the story could be a lot better if it could change how people say things, taking into account what kind of character is talking.

Great continuation of the series!
Was very excited when I got the audiobook and I wasn’t disappointed. The books 3&4 were for light reading and the author did a great job of enabling the readers ( well in my case the listeners) to be engaged in the gradual kingdom building and each character’s development. The fight scenes were well written and although the MC is powerful, the fights were tastefully scripted and weren’t steamrolled through.
My only disappointment in the books were how short they were; I really wanted to listen for a while longer. Honestly can’t wait for the next books in the series. Overall a great continuation to the legend of the arch magus book series!!

Better than the last one
I was not upset by the "dogs of the empire" usage. it is simple: our side hates their side so we have a derogatory name. I enjoyed the fact that the MC while powerful still has room to grow and he finally gets some powerfull oponents. Action is decent and while we expect the MC to win the story has a better construction compared with previous books

Great story and good narration
I liked it very much, though you have to sit through too many "entire" and waaay too many "several" to ignore them, the story was compelling - only problem was, it was too short, looking forward to more.

Michael lets talk about these book descriptions
I don't know why the author of these awesome books has such terrible descriptions in them.
I would say book 3 is about our hero visiting the king and book 4 is about the war.
hmm, I can't describe the book without spoilers so I will leave it there.
I had this book on pre-order as this author is one my best finds this year. I got to re-read the first book and I remembered how much I truly love these books. they are very relaxing in a world gone crazy. Tom Taylorson does a good shouting crowd voice, he is really helping to make listening to these books an enjoyable experience.
Not the challenge I always face with a good author - should I read the next book or wait for the audio ... OR BOTH?

Really good sequel.
Lost a night of sleep just listens to the whole book, before I knew it the sun was coming up and I had 2 hours left. So I finished in two hours and went to work. Enjoyed this as much as the first for similar reasons as well. Really liking all the new characters as well and getting to see some more of the Nobles as well.

Really loved ot
Totally different to my usual choice of novel, but after reading Publisher's Pack 1,
I couldn't wait to purchase Pack 2. ..... definitely wasn't disappointed. Looking forward to starting Pack 3. Thank you to Michael Sisa for such a different and totally enjoyable, beautifully written story.

Promising new author
The writing of this story is rudimentary and the author still has a long way to go, to develop and polish his skill, but I was thoroughly entertained from start to finish. Well done. I look forward to more from this author.

Good story, narration usually excellent
Can't wait for the next in the series to be adapted to an audiobook. Narration is clear and well performed though I still cringe at the times where a character is trying to yell out which sounds like a child ranting rather than an adult trying to be commanding.

Awesome
These books are great additions to the series they kept me on the edge of my seat.
The narration was great with a wide range of voices and lots of expressions in them.
Over all 2 great books with an amazing narration 15/15 would recommend
