Publisher's Summary
As home life and work life become increasingly integrated in contemporary life, success (or failure) in either has an undeniable effect on the other. And while the profound events that began the 21st century have intensified the desire to focus on what matters most to us, there is still often a substantial gap between what we say matters most and the way we actually spend our time and money. Our credit-card and checking-account statements may clearly reflect this. But it is possible to keep both areas moving forward in positive ways.
In this groundbreaking book, A. Roger Merrill and Rebecca Merrill demonstrate how to navigate the critical relationships between time and money, work and family, to create a harmonious, success-enhancing dynamic between each. Life Matters shows us how our actions can translate our most deeply held personal values and goals into daily real-life experience. From confronting life's tough questions to offering practical ways to implement your answers, the authors guide you through the crucial steps toward effective living.

Life Matters
The information is excellent. Well presented. Very much like sitting at a kitchen table with a trusted couple who dispense timeless wisdom.
Seems to start out slow. But looking back it was the needed ground work. There were excellent ideas in each chapter I will be putting to use. Very practical stuff. Great for couples, I've been talking to my wife about it. I will also purchase the book to digest visually. And I am already relistening to the audio. If you are looking for practical wisdom on work, family, money, time and relationships this is a must. It really was a sleeper, I have never heard about it before browsing audibles unabridged section.
thanks

Synergy
I think synergy best describes this book- the whole is much better than the sum of the parts. It can sound like random tidbits at times but in the end it forms a cohesive picture of how to live a quality life. I will probably go back and listen to the optimizers for each section and take notes. Such easy going and charming voices- very much like sitting talking with friends- well friends who have their lives in order more than most. Worth a listen.

This book is so insightful I had to not only listen to it, but go and get the printed copy so that I could review certain sections and adopt those actions into my personal daily life. Excellent material!

DON'T WASTE YOUR $$ OR TIME!! AWEFUL!
What a waste. Nothing more yawn-inducing than listening to a married couple showering each other with sugar sweetness. Intro was too long and marketed Covey's works. Ill-prepared and poorly executed. Don't waste your money or time on this.
