A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

Infinite Worlds is the most popular VRMMORPG on the market. Its maps are so vast, developer Hard Rock Data utilizes a network of highly advanced artificial intelligences to control it. But it’s not without problems. That’s why Game Masters like Jeff Driscoll have jobs. The downside? He’s not allowed to play the game. Something about conflicts of interest and favoritism. His very boring and tedious job is to help players deal with the occasional bug that slips through the cracks and ensure they enjoy their time playing enough to give a five-star rating.

Wow you got me again sir well played!
Over the years of listening to these amazing books I grew to really care about goblins. There were quite a few times through the series I had to go cut onions to justify the waterworks. This book keeps the ride going with fierce fighting as the climax of the series draws you into the final chapter of the Greenpiece clan trying to free the trapped players. The evolution of Oren and his Daughter really tugged at the parental part of me. Of course I want more and I am sad to see the series come to a conclusion but as endings go I cannot complain. The amazing team of narrators kept me immersed enough to annoy my family as I ignored them for two days and devoured more of Shemers mind candy.

Decent conclusion to a 6 book series
As always, Jeff Hays hits it out of the park with his narration. Sound effects get a little distracting at times, but overall good quality from Soundbooth Theater.
The conclusion to the 6 part series was, I dunno. It was decent, I don't feel like I regretted the end, but at the same time I also felt it could have gone better. Ultimately a good read and a fun story. I do recommend checking it out.

I cried I laughed and I loved. What a Treat!
I cried I laughed and I loved would be Oren's words if he could speak to us on his time in the game.
I loved every installment before and this one does not let you down. all the personality put into each character by the author and NARRATOR'S plural all 3 are wonderful.
The tale of this poor goblin and now his friends npc and human alike does not dull. if you are leary of jumping into a litrpg title don't be here. Grab book 1 of this series and feast your mind upon the wonder Shermer kunitz has created.

Masterpiece of LITRPG - 187 Ball Jokes in Total
I went through all 6 books in a few days. This will be my second listening of Books 1-5.
What makes this a masterpiece is the level of audio, narration, and writing talent brought to bear in one creative venture.
Multiple voice actors add a new level of depth and complexity. While at first, the additional background sounds might be distracting if this is your first Soundbooth production, you soon appreciate the added dramatic tension fights have with the right climatic music.
The writer actually tries to be a good writer. Weird I know, but some authors fill chapters with 10-minute long character sheet reviews when they run out of wit or humor. The end of this series was perfect and unforeseen.
I stream RPGs and review LITRPG novels at Kurogami187 on Twitch, stop by and let's talk LITRPG! :)

Disappointing
The production quality is fantastic. Masterfully narrated and music production is good.
How to describe the disappointing story of an otherwise, in my opinion, fantastic series without spoilers
1: rpg elemens are lacking. Part of the Litrpg genres appeal is progression. Leaning about the universe possibilities and skills. what new crazy or fantastic things can the characters learn. What does the next tier, level, building whatever give the characters we follow.
That part is almost completely pointless in the last books despite being one of the series strongest aspects previously.
Any skill or item learned seems purely for the purpose of maguffins. Oh this plot device moves the book forwards so he happend to gain skill x.
Stale characters that are no more than paint jobs. The balls skit was really funny in the first couple of books. But there has been so little character evolution over the series its just grown stale. The main character is not great and I find myself not caring at all about the other ones introduced. Just felt like hollow shells. I must have listened to 10s of series where I cared or found the characters or atleast are more than 1 dimensional gag personas with a single stick.
The ending of the book felt to me like Game of Thrones did. Just not very fulfilling or satisfying.
The aspect I found most appealing is completely gone here (Progression) and I just didn't feel like the book compensated well enough for it.

Very good end to the series
While I was expecting the book to feel a little rushed, it did not. It was a great end to the series, and the music added to the overall feel of the audiobook (may even have gotten a little choked up at the end with the piano)
Only minus was that the music at times was a little too loud and drowned out the narrator.

Crying at end of LITRPG stories should be banned.
Having binge listened this absolutely brilliant production (series), I was left nearly in tears by both the story and the fact that there was no more to listen to. Well written with a great story line, many many twists most surprising both obvious after the fact but well hidden in the flow of the story. Characters superbly developed. The production with multiple brilliant narrators accompanied by approriate sound effects was enthralling. I will certainly be looking for more of this Author and Production Houses work. Congratulations.

What an ending to a series
Everything about this book was well done. The background music made battle scenes more tense then they would have been normally. All the plot points were tied in perfectly and was just a great read. Well done to everyone who worked on this book, both the author and the sound team that made the audio version.

Decent ending
The sound design and balance continues the trend of being a bit amateur. One 15minute section had a single character sounding like they were behind a pillow with terrible volume balance to the other voices. To be expected from this series as every book contained some sort of stuff up like this. The ending itself was a bit cliche and fanfic style but it did set up the obvious sequel series. Otherwise, a decent ending to the series.

Amongst the top in the genre thus far
Up there with ‘he who fights with monsters’
Loved the use of digitally augmented voices to create and assist the atmosphere/narration.
Nothing groundbreaking in book material, although just extremely well done with no over use of any one specific trope.

Brilliant, not enough stars!
An exceptional series, every book, every character and the narration top notch. I wish it didn’t have to end, but I’m glad it ended the way it did. Don’t know how I’ll find another one in this genre to top it.
