Publisher's Summary
The classic inspirational parable from the top motivation and marketing trainer and number-one New York Times best-selling author of The Millionaire Messenger - a triumphant tale of personal growth and change that will inspire anyone who has ever wished for a second chance.
What if you were handed a golden ticket that could magically start your life anew?
That question is at the heart of Life's Golden Ticket. Brendon Burchard tells the story of a man who is so trapped in the prison of his past that he cannot see the possibilities, the choices, and the gifts before him. To soothe his fiancée, Mary, clinging to life in a hospital bed, the man takes the envelope she offers and heads to an old, abandoned amusement park that she begs him to visit.
To his surprise, when he steps through the rusted entrance gates, the park magically comes to life. Guided by the wise groundskeeper, Henry, the man will encounter park employees, answer difficult questions, overcome obstacles, listen to lessons from those wiser than he, and take a hard look at himself.
At the end of his journey, the man opens Mary's mysterious envelope. Inside is a golden ticket - the final phase in turning his tragic life's story of loss and regret into a triumphant tale of love and redemption.

Amazing and Powerful
What made the experience of listening to Life's Golden Ticket the most enjoyable?
The riveting and rich storyline.
What other book might you compare Life's Golden Ticket to and why?
Deepak Chopra's ."The 13th Disciple"
Which scene was your favorite?
The final scene ...and the revelation of the importance of life's requisites
Who was the most memorable character of Life's Golden Ticket and why?
The protagonist
Any additional comments?
The book really surpassed my deepest expectations.
I expected something less riveting and insightful, and in fact it was a true
masterpiece of insightful and meaningful storytelling....yet so archetypal and true.
You will not be disappointed in this book. I suggest the audiobook format as it keeps the dynamic tension going while also portraying the characters with the required amount of color and personality.
this is truly one of those books you should give to those who need a "GoldenTicket" to change their lives..

Creative!
Some of the verbiage was a little bit gimmicky sounding and read in such a way that it felt like a tired and over used "fall back" sermon for an uninspired pastor....
HOWEVER....
The message is as solid as I've heard. The story it's self is both creative and intriguing. Inspiring in it's own way. I love the creative delivery of many fresh perspectives, friendly reminders, and yes... the "feed you to the lions" kind of truths. The characters are relatable enough to identify with and spark an emotional connection to the story as it unfolds. It is the kind of story that elicits introspection, while also keeping the plot moving along so as not to leave you "stuck" in any one moment. In that regard; I wish I knew the significance of the "40 day" experience. Or what came of "Meg". I have other similar questions of that nature - because I felt as though they were left unanswered and hanging in the air a bit. I will buy a physical copy of this book for my personal reference and invite my family and friends to purchase their own copies as well.

Give it a chance and you will not be dissapointed!
Prior to downloading this audio book I decided to take a look at the review and saw some people take issue with the way in which it is written and the details within the story which include a Wizard, various rides a theme park etc.
This book needs to be read with an open mind, each ride and tutor provide a valuable lesson to the reader regarding the way in which they are currently living their life and urges you to take responsibility for your actions and emotions and commit to moving forward.
This book is brilliant and very thought provoking. I would highly recommend!

I hoped for much more
Reading the reviews was what helped me decide to purchase this book. I enjoy anything that helps get me on a more positive frequency and I am definitely a non-fiction person, so selecting this book which was based more in fiction was out of character, but I was open to getting the same buzz from it that other reviewers have spoken about.
Oh.
It's really not for me. The story was quite laboured, and it just seemed to be a little bit better suited to someone who either prefers fiction, or who doesn't particularly want to better themselves, but rather wants an enjoyable up-beat distraction? All a little bit too predictable for me and better suited to a younger audience.
