Such a great storyline!

Such a great storyline! The story was well thought out and I could watch it just play out before my eyes. I loved it. The characters were believable and well-written. It was so sweet and so captivating that I sat down and listen to it in one sitting.

Aaron and Poppy’s unexpected love story in Like a Drug by Liz Matis, book two in the Double Trouble Duet, was truly a fun, steamy, and enjoyable read. While in rehab for an addiction to pain killers, billionaire and CEO Aaron meets country music star Poppy. With off the chart chemistry and attraction, they risk getting kicked out to have a down and dirty fling. Spending time together in rehab, Aaron and Poppy challenge each other, forcing each other to come to terms with their ghosts and fears. The concern they are becoming addicted to sex and time together, they find that only love, true love, will save them.

The author- Ms. Matis wrote a wonderful, sexy, and emotional story that is not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sexual chemistry, amusing banter, and endearing characters giving Scott and Felicity a chance at love and a future neither expected to make them happy. I highly recommend Like a Drug to other readers.

I can't wait to hear what this writer puts out next. This should be admired and become famous! I will share this and recommend it!

Super engaging

There is a very good storyline here that unfolded slowly, keeping my interest from start to finish. The author will able to draw you deep within the story to a place where your imagination takes over and you view the story within your mind and fall in love with each character in each set as if you are there experiencing it. Very well written and performed and super engaging.

Love it

I loved the characters, the story, and the performances. I wish the whole thing was flushed out a bit more but all in all, it was cleverly written. I don't want to tell some of the sequences or scenes herein because I want you to listen on your own and to see it for yourself what will happens next.

Interesting story

Like a Drug by Liz Matis was a good and quick read. The story moves quickly, the attraction is strong and we get a few twists. Aaron and Poppy have chemistry and really love each other. I love the last part when Poppy made a song to Aaron, "It's called Heart Strings". She strummed the guitar with the beginning chords. I am excited about Aaron’s book, the third book in this duet, to see how it all ends.

Loved it!

Loved it! This audiobook changes the way you see your right to be loved and your ability to pick a good partner and leave behind bad habits and past hurts. The characters show depth and range and this was no exception. There's also a huge twist that left my jaw on the floor, but it's resolved beautifully. I only wish the book had been longer, but overall it was a great listen. Truly life empowering.

A very pleasant story

A very story pleasant to listen to. I cannot wait to visit serenity again in the next series. I had a hard time putting this one down and found myself enthralled in the story and feeling for both of them as if they were people I knew. The author does a fantastic job developing her characters, pulling you into the story, and keeping you there right to the end. This is a true page-turner and I loved listening to it. Well-developed characters

This book has well-developed characters who are very believable. The plot was also interesting and multi-dimensional so that I wasn't only following one aspect of the story and that kept me not wanting to put it down. I will continue listening to all these authors' books.

Enjoyed the story

I have listened to this book a while ago and enjoyed the story. The authors write very masculine and it works very well with the story and also the narrator did a good job capturing the feel of the story. Some part of the story was sensual but at the same time, it was very romantic. l closed my eyes while listening and I feel like I'm in the story in a corner watching everything.
