Milton Frederick never had the chance to live out his life as a professional gamer on Earth, mainly because he was abducted by aliens. Unfortunately, he wasn’t returned home after the typical probing associated with such things to tell an unbelievable story to his friends. Instead, he was summarily killed and his consciousness was inserted into a Station Core, a giant, metal, egg-shaped object that could use technology to create traps, Combat Units, and other defenses to protect not just himself, but those he cared about.

Carl was a regular construction foreman. Not the worst, not the best, and definitely not the thinnest. Even so, he didn't deserve that heart attack! He really didn't deserve being reborn into a dog-eat-dog world as a dragon. To be fair, it’s nice to be at the top of the food chain. Now Carl just needs to learn how magic works, which monsters are safe to eat, and why his hoard is so important to him. Dealing with change is hard enough, but he has enemy dragons incoming, hostile environments, and foes constantly trying to get bragging rights by taking down a dragon.

Hey look, a LitRPG series that is completed!
It's great to see a LitRPG series conclude, meaning, we don't see a lot of those right now. While the author definitely could have strung out this story in so many ways, it's nice to have an ending. You can also tell that the author laid out this conclusion from the beginning, slowly bringing us here in an appropriate pace for both the game storyline, and the real life one. Without trying to spoil anything, I'm glad the ending landed where it did. There are various easier paths the author could have taken, but it's nice to have surprises in the story so you never know how things will turn out.
**SPOILER SECTION**
A few things about the story that just sat off with me a bit. I'd been waiting for the giants to arrive in the story at some point, since the MC invited them at the end of the 3rd book. It was sad to just have them as what felt like an afterthought. It was like, "oh crap I forgot about the giants! Uh, yeah they weren't able to make it..." I wasn't really expecting them to save the day, but I felt they built on the alliances that were made over time. More on this in a bit.
I have the same type of thought with the dungeon. Maybe this was just the way that I thought it would be, but the creatures of the dungeon always had to say that they would come aid the town when in need. I kind of expected this would allow them to come out of the dungeon and join the fight as needed. I didn't expect they would be restricted by the dungeon master's abilities. This, along with the giants, I always felt were part of a bigger thing that they MC was building to over time. Throughout all of the books he was adding allies, friends, and gathering more help. It felt like all of this work would come together in a big way, which didn't end up happening. Sure the dungeon helped a bit, and we got to see past friends like the Shield Bros and the other mercenary force, which worked out well, I guess just wasn't how I was imagining it.
Another thing that just felt odd was the lack of other player activity. I understand that only a certain amount were able to join the quest itself, but in a game, there would be a mob of players there to help defend the town. There was literally zero mention of any other players outside the main force. That just kind of felt odd.
**END SPOILER SECTION**
Overall I really enjoyed the series, it was laid out very nicely from start to finish. It sounds like it was left open to explore other characters in Limitless Lands, which could be interesting. For example, what ended up happening with Narboss?
Jack Voraces did a great job again finishing up the story, I will look for other works he has done.

Fantastic LitRPG
I received a free review copy of this audiobook.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. In it, Raytak has to defend Hayden's Knoll in the war that has been brewing. It was a fitting finale to the series. If you liked the previous books, I recommend listening to this one also. The story has some twists, and effective strategies were employed. The narration was great. The voices for the characters add much to the humor and to my enjoyment of the book. There were happy and sad moments - I think it is good when a book can cause strong emotions. That demonstrates the skill of the author. Certainly, it is one of the best LitRPG series I've had the pleasure to read or listen to.

Good overall just want more
The series was very good overall. I enjoyed the development of raytac and his story but was somewhat left wanting more. There were a lot of cool plot lines that were set up that either just got forgotten or left out or tied up in a rushed fashion that I wish had been dove deeper into and used to make an incredible story. What is lovely’s story why’s her face carved up or gile taking over the socialist leader just kinda dropped off and ild have loved to see more development of ty jacoby yendis and the rest of the team and their characters. Also really would have loved a drawn out fit with zip something epic and dramatic to really tie up the combat to prep everyone for a tear jerker ending. Again loved the series just really wishing there was more!

The fact that this whole series kept the feel LitRPG without diving into specific stats is so underrated. It helps not get bogged down by state walls like some others do. All the while it delivers a unique class option. I'm not gonna lie, I'm sad to have finished the Raytak saga.

A good ending
So it’s been a long long time since a book got me to tears. The story might be simple in place and the character are some time boring but the whole series was great. Growing up in a military family since my grandfather and currently serving myself it capture a really good mind set of a military member. From being young and a stupid recruit, to a season military officer, to a retired vet that is at his end. How many of us face the unknown with a firm jaw and march forward. Thank for making this story!

Don’t have the words
Wow! What a unique and novel approach to the gamers story! Wasn’t sure how this would play out but now I’m sad that it ended. Well done Dean Henegar! The respect shown towards our Veterans throughout the series was Awesome and I thank you. Jack Voraces narration was well done and amazing with the voices and cadence of the different characters. Really brought the series to life. Thank you. As a healthcare provider serving the needs of the elderly this brought out empathy and the wish that other readers could learn more about the trials and hardships that the elderly are going through in the various medical facilities. Sit and listen to the stories of the uncles, aunts and grandparents and really listen and learn using empathy.

Brilliant series
I genuinely adored and invested myself in this series. It was a nice new angle into the litrpg genre and to follow my favourite protagonists through their trials and tribulations. With many laughs and emotional points, it led me to fly through this entire series one book after the next. I am very much looking forward to having more adventures in the limitless lands with Dean Henegar

Great conclusion to a very enjoyable series
As the final book in a five book series, this obviously isn't suited to people just joining the series at this point and those people should definitely go check out the earlier ones as this story is more than worth your time.
For those who have been enjoying this series, the big question is can the author stick the landing when it comes to a satisfying conclusion that closes out all the various plots that have built up throughout and thankfully the answer to that question is yes and even within the context of heading towards those conclusions, he still delivers an enjoyable listen in it's own right as usual.
That performance of the narrator has been a strength throughout this series and his performance in the finale is no exception with a suitably dramatic tone that works perfectly for the characters and setting.
Overall, the only negative I have with this book is the series is now over, but the limitless lands are a big place and the author could easily return to tell the stories of other visitors to it in the future.

Wonderful
The writing could have been improved and some of the later territory mechanics were poor. Having said that, I can honestly say this has been one of the best series I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. Bittersweet from the beginning to the end with an MC that is relatable in everyway. The other characters were just as real and the relationships they cultivated were again a pleasure to experience. I truly wish the adventure didn't end where it did, but who wants a good story to end. 5/5 will activately recommend to anyone interested. I will anticipate the next series within limitless lands, but to create a story on par with this will be a tall order. Yindis and Crunchy <3
