Very helpful listen

Creating and sticking to new habits can be quite difficult. This audiobook, however, breaks those processes into digestible parts and makes it easier for listeners to readily pick up and stick with new habits.

I liked how this one talks about some of the things that get in the way of new habit formation. For example, when we expect that new habits will stick quickly, we often work too hard to make them stick at the beginning, get discouraged when we fail to see the results we desire, then quickly give up altogether.

The message of this audiobook helps shift such a style of thinking; it shows us that we should take simple, methodical steps in order to build and keep new habits. Best yet, it provides seven additional secrets for streamlining that habit formation process. It’s an engaging and helpful listen, and that’s why I recommend it.

This book is such a game changer!!

I have read it on my kindle before but I wanted an audio version so I can listen on my phone whenever I want!
The seven secrets described in this book are powerful tools that have undoubtedly shifted my perspective on habits completely. You can also tell the author really know what she's talking about since she gives many examples throughout the book and makes complex concepts easy to understand and implement. I now finally understand why I wasn’t able to develop new habits in the long run. I had been focusing on the wrong things this whole time. But with the help of "Little Habits Mastery," I now know how to break things down, make incremental changes, create a growth environment and pile my habits effectively on top of each other. As a result, I’ve managed to wake up early consistently, finally, started meditating, and have reduced smoking cigarettes to one a week..! Simply incredible improvements. Hands down, this is the only book you need to work on your habits and turn your life around.

It’s all about the habits!

I have been searching and listening for a lot of audiobooks lately about mindset, how to change habits and overall improve those in my life. This was a good listen… had a little bit of a twist on things with looking at maybe some of the minor habits that we don’t necessarily pay attention to in our lives. But can often affect our mindset and how we go about our day.

Mastering life changing habits

If there was one main takeaway from this brilliant title, it was to become consciously aware of my automated and habitual behavior during the day. The moment I could see past this was the moment that I 10x’d my productivity, health, sleep and more. Essential listen if you want to take a leap in the right direction.

Easy to Follow!

It is good to know from this book that 45 percent of my activity is habitual and in a way automated, I never gave it a thought.
The book gives information on how to change one's habit by looking at the harmful habits and consciously make decision that will help one get more organised and live the lifestyle that one wants. We all do it in one way or the other but this book makes it easy not to procrastinate and get on with good habits and be orderly. Bad habits come in all shapes but the book gives tips on how to make changes that will help achieve important goals in life.
Don't change too many habits at once but one at a time so that the habits stick.

Grateful

Procrastinating is my worst bad habit. But I’m glad for this book as I’m reminded how precious time is and that for my life to change I have to make conscious effort. Bad habits are easy to pick, it’s the good habits taking small steps that require work and discipline.

Hugely Beneficial Audiobook

This book has helped me keep the discipline and motivation I needed to achieve. Too often I found my self straying from my goals though useless distractions. Slowing building my self discipline has allowed me to kick procrastination out of my life. This audiobook has notably improved my work ethic, through small achievable steps, I'd highly recommend!

Turn unhealthy habits around

Majority of the things we do every day is learned behavior – unconscious actions. Emily Collins makes the argument that if your habits are beneficial, your life will be meaningful. Then, she provides ways to make your habits serve you better. I loved especially that she used her personal experiences; they made the book so accessible!

Changing One Habit At A Time

This was such an inspirational audiobook. I realised how habits were formed and the steps that i needed to take to break habits that no longer served me in daily life. I learnt that slowly working on removing bad habits slowly and replacing them with more positive actions, it will be less overwhelming and you should have more chance of success. I will have to listen to the audiobook a few times to take in all the information.

Habitual inspiration

It has been a crazy few years with the pandemic and all and being self employed and working from home has seen me develop some not-so-great habits which I wanted to break. Was glad to find this book to better understand the habit cycle I was stuck in and how to implement and sustain new life and work habits too. Thoughts lead to actions, I know I’m the only one standing in the way of what it is I want to achieve. Inspiring - thank you.

We all have habits, make sure they are good ones!

This book was a bit of a reality check. The fact is that we all slip into habits of some kind. If we do not consciously think about it, then the chances are they are bad habits, and there is no drive to change life for the better. This book serves to make you think and choose which habits to follow. It then gives you great advice and encouragement to complete the transformation in your life.
