Publisher's Summary

Lola Barnes only wants one thing: to get her life under control. No more chasing alphas who abuse and toss away betas like her. No more hiding in her cousin’s apartment licking wounds that won’t heal. Armed with her dream job and her less than dreamy apartment, Lola is ready to start a new chapter of her life without alphas. But that’s easier said than done when one stumbling incident after another leads Lola closer to an alluring pack of captivating men.

These alphas are everything Lola dreamed of, but they already have an omega - a playful male model who won’t stop flirting with her. And Lola is only a beta, one who comes with deep scars and an unshakeable aversion to alphas and their powerful presences. If only she could resist their perfect beta, Leo, whose patience and determination to see her heal breaks down one wall after another.

When the alpha who all but destroyed Lola tries to start a game of cat and mouse that’s all claws, the safest place for Lola may be the one she’s most terrified of, in the arms of an alpha pack.

Compelling and sexy af

Holy hot Batman! Aside from some of the best spice I've ever read, the story and character development are superb. The only reason I removed a star is due to the story being two separate books. It doesn't end as a cliffhanger, more like the end of a chapter.

Love Lola and her men

Another great reverse harem book. The characters are amazing and the voice actors did a beautiful job bringing the characters to life. Highly recommend!

So good.

Lola and her boys will get you from the start. I’m loving these books. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next one.

Adore the book, not so much the audiobook

I am a huge fan of this series. I rarely reread, and this is one of the few series I have reread. The story is beautifully written with engaging characters, well-developed relationships, excellent pacing, just the right amount of detail…basically the only thing that could make this series more perfect is for it to be longer so I can spend more time with the characters. Well, that and a better audiobook now.

My biggest disappointment was the choice of narrators. It’s funny because I loved Melissa in another series, but I really don’t think she is well suited to a more subdued character like Lola. And I didn’t like her voices for many of the men. I think this series would have been a lot better as a dual narration since Lola’s POV really dominates the series.

I think this is the first time I have heard the male narrator, and I wasn’t a fan. I felt like his voice range was so subtle that I struggled to identify who he was voicing at any given time. Men who narrate RH books really need a good range of characters voices for this reason. His performance was weak.

This is the second time I have had serious issues with audio quality. The first time was with a book recorded over a decade ago. So I was really surprised to find such poor quality in a recent book. There were times the voices would suddenly get really low, then loud. And the recording quality was poor and tinny sounding. It made it almost impossible to forget I was listening to a recording.

So…in summary, the book itself deserves a thousand stars, but the audio recording is pretty mediocre. Do yourself a favor and read the book instead if you can.

Not awful, but I'm not going to buy Part Two

Beginning with the narration, Jarman Day gave an excellent performance. He gave each character a distinct voice which made listening so easy.

On the downside, Melissa Schwairy's performance missed the mark. Lola spent a lot of time musing in her head. Melissa's narration lacked distinction between Lola's memories, her current thoughts and her speaking voice. I had to open the book more than once to figure out how Lola's dialogue affected the story line.

On to the book itself, I wasn't gung-ho like so many reviewers. Granted, I don't like MM, but I didn't let that figure in my rating because I knew ahead of time that MM scenes would be included.

I found the characters to be well fleshed out and I loved all of Lola's men. The other characters had distinct personalities as well. The world was well developed too.

Be aware that even though this is an ABO book, Lola, who is the MFC, is a beta. The story lacks her heat and knotting that is traditionally part of an omegaverse. Almost all of the story is told from Lola's point of view which includes her incessant longing to be an omega and devaluing herself because she's "just" a beta. She received very little purring which was a shame because she could have really used the comfort.

Here's my biggest complaint. The plot was completely predictable. It lacked any twists or surprises. I predicted how the book would end after only a few chapters. I'm not sure that I regret listening to Part One of this duet, but I wouldn't recommend it and I'm definitely not interested in purchasing Part Two.

Love this Omegaverse

This is my first time listening to Melissa Schwairy and Jarman Day as narrators, and they are amazing! The amount of emotions for Lola along with the voice changes from the guys, what these narrators are able to pull off was wonderful. Lola's story was heartbreaking, having suffered by past Alphas, and now scared to find love again. Leo shows her just how much she deserves that love and as a Beta, he opens her heart into accepting the Alphas of his pack. This story gets steamy and hits all the feels. This is one I will be listening to many times again. TW/18+

poor sound quality, but otherwise a fun book

I gave the performance three stars even though the nareators were great because the sound quality was so bad.

I really like the story though, a fun poly take this kind of romance.

Love this book

It seems like there may have been some technical problems with the audio, I am not quite sure what was going on but it would go really quiet in some places. Love this story, even with the slightly distracting audio issues you will enjoy this.

Lovely story

This is probably my favourite out of all the sweetverse books and I keep wanting to reread it. This time I bought the audio and went for a comfort listen! The narrators do an exquisite job capturing the characters and emotions.

Hot, funny and so much love

Really loved this book, main character is witty, smart, interesting and has a dark past. Supporting characters are just as good. How they interact and slowly fall in love made my heart squeeze. And the story is super hot, explicit and steamy in the best of ways.

Love this book

This one is even better than the first. We got a small glimpse of Lola’s story during Baby’s ordeal and now we get a full picture. Her trauma and all that came after. I love the pack, the different personalities and how all of them support and complement Lola.
Great performances too. On to book 2 now

Fantastic!

I have to admit that I knew going into this audiobook that I would love it. I first discovered Lola & the Millionaires, and the rest of the Kathryn Moon and Lana Kole’s Sweet Omegaverse earlier this year, but have re-read the entire series so far at least three times.

Lola & The Millionaires is sweet, a bit steamy, and just so comforting. The heroine is battling her own issues, and has to learn to let the heroes help her along the way. The narration is perfect, and I couldn’t love the story more. I can’t wait for part two to be released in audio! In the mean time, I’ll just re-listen to this over and over again, and fall more and more in love with Lola and her pack. Ultimate comfort book!

4 star listen

I liked baby and the howlers but Lola and her millionaires are better. I love them. The men are very very sweet.
Lola has big self hate.
She needs to work on herself, in this book Lola gets three of the six of her men. Hoping she gets the other three in book two.

We hear from baby quite a bit and I love that.
The audio was great and I’m going to listen to book two right now.
