Publisher's Summary

For Delilah, the Mossad's top seductress, the parameters of the assignment were routine. The contractor: MI6. The objective: infiltrate a terror network, this one operating out of London. The stakes: a series of poison gas attacks on civilian population centers. There's just one wrinkle. The target is a woman - as smart, beautiful, and committed as Delilah herself. And for a cynical operative thrust suddenly out of her element, the twists and turns of the spy game are nowhere near as dangerous as the secrets and desires of the human heart.

Delilah novella

The Israeli assassin Delilah shows up repeatedly in John Rain series novels by Barry Eisler. This novella is about Delilah. It's a good espionage story interlaced with graphic lesbian sex. Barry Eisler does a great job narrating as usual.

VERY sexy Lesbian moments-be prepared

WOW can Eisler write a killer woman with woman sex scene. If this isn't your thing, I suggest you avoid this novella length supplement to the John Rain series.

The story was a great one and sex wasn't the only thing it was based on..a good plot line and we got to know the new character fairly well.

Enjoyable if you enjoy reading a sexy book...not much more than a Nora Roberts book but more explicit IMO.

A shortie..don't spend a credit on it..just buy it.

I have now read all his books!

cant wait for the new one. i read this one out of order because I thought I wouldn't like a short story just about Delilah. I was totally wrong. It was so great to get a little more insight into who Delilah is as a person. As for the sex scene that other reviewers have mentioned, yes, there is a graphic scene between 2 women but it's only one chapter. and it is written quite well -- way to go Barry!

Becoming What You Hate, Or Not

I always enjoy listening to Barry read. Authors, knowing where the story is going, often are the best readers. I've going backwards, learning back stories. Intense! The fight scenes and security details make book not just more authentic, but I learn something new every time.

I enjoyed this novella

I very much enjoyed this book. I think very Eisler should write more about the Delilah character. I think this would be and enjoyable extension of the whole story line that has been created here.

A fresh perspective!

Having read a couple of John Rain books, it was wonderful to read a story - albeit a novella, not a novel - from the perspective of Delilah. She is an intriguing character with nuances of her own!

This book can be read (or listened to) without being familiar with the universe, but I can't deny it's nice knowing the background of some characters and getting some of the references.

Can't believe I have read them all!

I enjoyed having a short story for a change. It was no less enjoyable for that reason though. I guess I have become addicted to his characters after this many books in a row. Like all the rest I could not I put it down.

Delilah Is Too Demsnding

Where does London Twist rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's in the low third. It's a short story and you must have read all,the previous John Rain novels to understand its significance.

What other book might you compare London Twist to and why?

It is similar to,the earlier John Rain novels since she is introduced through this story. She and John have a lot in common altho, she accepts her lifestyle easier then he accepts his.

Which scene was your favorite?

When John asks her if she can handle two then takes off down the street and beard up,the other four. The last man was damaged more than I thought necessary but he us an assassin after all.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was sorry that Delilah and John split. I hope they reconnect in a new John Rain book.

Any additional comments?

Great series. Kudos to Barry Eisler for creating the characters and then bringing them to life with his voice.

Sad but Pure Delilah

Totally unlike the Delilah we've come to know. Still clever and cunning, cautious and surprising. Ultimately quite sad. I'd like to see where she goes from here. I'm still hopeful for her and John Rain. It would be nice if they could teach her controllers a lesson!

A good novella, even more so because it is part of the Kindle Unlimited package and alone would be worth the monthly subscription. (Maybe).

Enjoy.
