Story
When 49-year-old Belladonna Barrone’s mobbed-up husband does her the favor of dying in a car accident, she thinks she’s finally free of the crime family she unwittingly married into. Then the boss tells her that she has to complete her husband’s last job before that freedom is truly hers. No big deal, she figures. Until things go south in ways she never imagined. Suddenly she’s thrust into a whole new world that makes the mob look like kindergarten. Vampires and werewolves are real? How is that freaking possible?

Shadowvale isn’t typical small-town America. The sun never shines, the gates decide who enters, magic abounds, and every resident bears some kind of curse. No one knows this as well as raven shifter Deacon Evermore, who, like everyone in his family, has a curse. While his position as Shadowvale’s peacekeeper lets him use that curse for good, he’d rather live anywhere else. He stays for his family but doubts he can last much longer.

Wonderful book!!!😆
Best book of the series! There is nothing more fun to rad about than newlyweds! Trust me, I was married to a wonderful woman for 24 years before she went home to the Lord. I love the storyline and especially the ending. I hope this is not the last of this series but all good things must.come to an sometime and this is a great ending to the Jayne Frost series.

Lost in Las Vegas
I just finished the audiobook of Lost in Las Vegas. I really enjoyed the Dual POVs and the Dual Narrators. It was so good to see Aunt B and Jack too! Hopefully more crossovers will be planned for future books in the series. These four really need to set up their own Supernatural Detective Agency and get Hank to be their Nocturne Falls liaison.

Jayne and Sinclair.
I was wondering if we were going to have anymore stories after the wedding. Am glad we do. Loved it. I would have liked some mention of Sinclair’s sibling/siblings. There was one mention of two nieces in Ms Frost Chills the Cheater but nothing since. Would like to see that now they are traveling around the mortal United States.

A fantastic start to a new series!
Lost in Las Vegas is book 1 of the Frost & Crowe Mystery series. I was so excited to happen across this book. I loved the Jayne Frost series and am thrilled to have a spin-off of that with Jayne Frost and her husband Sinclair Crowe. I hope that this is the first of many. We also got to see Birdie in this book. She is from the Nocturne Falls series and also the spin-off Jayne Frost series that this book spins off of.
In this book, Jayne and Sinclair have to solve a kidnapping of someone very close to them. It is set in Las Vegas where they are visiting Sin's parents. Spider and Sugar are along for the adventure too.
I recommend this book, but I really think it would be enjoyed so much more if you read the Jayne Frost series first. You may even want to check out the Nocturne Falls series too because it is pretty great.
The narration in this book was done a bit different than the Jayne Frost series and Nocturne Falls series. In those books, it is just one narrator. This book had dual narration and swapped back and forth with the POV. Both narrators did a good job and I enjoyed listening to this book.

Nice audiobook!
I love all the Jane Frost audiobooks, and this one was also great. This one was different as it had two narrators. Hollis has always done a fantastic job on her own, but I didn't mind the addition of BJ Harrison. As you know, if a narrator is annoying, it can ruin the whole book. Both narrators were wonderful! The story was also great (a nice light mystery with great characters). I think I have read all the Jane Frost books now so that's kind of a bummer. I hope there will be more. If you like a nice light mystery (not a lot of sex or graphic violence), this will be right up your alley.
