Story
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6). So mourned the prophet Hosea. The glory of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that "all shall know [God], from the least to the greatest of them" (Heb. 8:11). Spiritual knowledge is open to all God's children today. It is therefore not only our duty but also our privilege to seek this knowledge. In the present volume, brother Watchman Nee attempts to help us to develop this spiritual knowledge.

Story
This is a complete presentation on the workings of the human spirit and soul and body. The book aims at delivering people from the tyranny of self-life with its carnality and from the domination of the passions and lusts of the flesh. It attempts to lead them to the full salvation of Christ. It is not to be taken as a manual but as a guide to true spirituality. It is recommended that this three-volume work be listened to quickly once.

Story
Are you ready for real and radical transformation? God Is Enough! This message comes through loud and clear in the lives of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. While they failed time and again, God was faithful to convict, restore and bless them. And He is able to deal with our slipping and stumbling as well. Watchman Nee uses the lives of the patriarchs to show that God is able to turn our failure into success and our weakness into strength.

Story
What is the missing link to a glorious church? Can it be the lack of "full knowledge and all perception that ye may prove [or, distinguish] the things that differ" (literal translation)? Certainly spiritual discernment is the pressing need of today. How can we obtain this full knowledge of God? Where do we get spiritual discernment that we may know the things which differ or are more excellent? These are the matters which brother Watchman Nee tried to address during his latter years of ministry.

In this volume, brother Watchman Nee presents the secret of Christian living in three parts; namely, in Christ, Christ in us, and some applications. These are messages given mainly from 1934 to 1938 in various cities of China. They are more direct, more illustrative, and easier to understand. Story
Anyone who serves God will discover sooner or later that the great hindrances he has in the Lord's work is not others but himself. He will discover that his outward man (soul) is not in harmony with his inward man (spirit). Both tend to go toward two opposite directions from each other. He will also sense the inability of his outward man to submit to the inner control of his regenerated spirit. His greatest difficulty lies in his outward man, which hinders him from using his spirit.

Authority is a tremendous thing in the universe, nothing overshadows it. God's throne is established on His authority. God's authority represents God Himself. God alone is authority in all things; all the authorities of the earth are instituted by God. It is therefore important for us who desire to serve God to know the authority of God.

Story
The subject before the listener is one which is commonly overlooked by God's people. Yet we are definitely told by the Lord this word: "A salvation ready to be revealed in the last time...Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls" (1 Peter 1.5,9). As the end draws nearer and nearer, it is incumbent upon Christians to know what the salvation of the soul is.

Watchman Nee's thesis in this book is that Christ came to mankind by way of the cross, and only by this same way can we know him. At the source of all spiritual things, he says, stands the cross.

Publisher's Summary
Having every one of us been in bondage to sin, we readily believe that sinful things are Satanic; but do we believe equally that the things of the world are Satanic? Many of us, I think, are still in two minds about this. Yet how clearly Scripture affirms that "the whole world lieth in the evil one" (1 John 5:19). Satan well knows that, generally speaking, to try to ensnare real Christians through things that are positively sinful is vain and futile. They will usually sense the danger and elude him. So he had contrived instead an enticing network, the mesh of which is so skillfully woven as to entrap the most innocent of men. We flee sinful lusts, and with good reason, but when it comes to such seemingly innocuous things as science and art and education, how readily do we lose our sense of values and fall a prey to his enticements!

love not the world* *satan
i get that satan hides in materialism and attachment and vice etc, and that the antichrist will use religion and politics and markets to bring about satans works, but using the transient nature of gods creation as a reason as not to love it seems like a stretch. the transient and temporary nature of nature is much of what there is to love about it. sure too much food ia gluttony but should we also not eat the mana god provides and be thankful for its brevity? food rots, but to be the shepard of this decay leads to elevation whether you are ripening bananas for bread or curing meat or making cheese or aging wine etc. the change the seasons bring from spring life to winter devastation, the landscapes created by erosion, the flow of the tides. all the beauty of gods creation is temporary.
i also question the implication that there is sin in markets themselves, corruption of capitalism is through the evil of government interference which requires theft and violence or the desire for capital as an ends and not a means. the antichrist is the worship of statist progressivism which aims to replace god.
