Publisher's Summary

When Caitlin Cook left the small town of Reindeer Falls, Tennessee to attend Harvard University, she left behind the burden of her parents’ slowly increasing hoard of antiques, a much younger brother, and Shane Mitchell — the boy who blindsided her with the news that he loved her on the night before she left.

Eight years later, Caitlin returns to Reindeer Falls, and is shocked to find her childhood home in disarray, and her little brother in desperate need of his sister. Determined to make things right, Caitlin begins to rediscover her love for music, antiques, and possibly even Shane - who’s become a pillar of the community, rather than the carefree teenager Caitlin once knew.

When faced with the choice of rebuilding her life in Boston, or giving love a second chance in Reindeer Falls, will Caitlin be able to decide on the true meaning of home?

Great storytelling

Warm living story with a great narrator who can pronounce all the words (which is rare). Great ending and I’m excited to see what happens next

Sweet 2nd chance romance

The story is engaging & well written. I enjoyed the dialogue. However, the reason for wanting to go back to Boston really wasn't credible enough; she repeatedly had given herself sufficient reasons for not going back but was holding on to an ideal that wasn't even her own. The romance is really well done, otherwise, & I definitely enjoyed the story.

[I listened to the audiobook version & the narrator does a good job with distinguishing the voices]

*Romance level: passionate kisses, nothing graphic

sweet second chance story

This was the first time I've listened to both author and narrator.
I thinking the narrator did a good job portraying the different characters.
I enjoyed the story. it was sweet and had just the right amount of conflict. I hope she continues the story with Michelle and Emma

Sweet, Emotional, and Romantic!

This was my first Beth Labonte's book. This is the sixth book of the Reindeer Falls Series, a small town romance. Caitlin and Shane's story is sweet, emotional, and romantic. Lauren B. Leigh did a great read of the story. I enjoyed it.
