Publisher's Summary

An alien warrior seeking redemption meets a captured Earth woman being treated as a pet. Will their love survive in a hostile world?

Kidnapped by four-armed, blue skinned aliens, Isabelle "Isi" is sold to the head of the Al'kieern kidnapping operation. Isi has accepted she'll live and die as a songbird pet to the queen. If nothing else, performing for the Al'kieern beats being sold as a breeder. But a Crakairian warlord storms the Al'kieern compound, determined to destroy everything and everyone in his wake. When he's captured, Isi offers to free him if he helps her get away.

Scorned by Crakairian society after his father tried to murder a respected military commander, Lyel is willing to die to redeem his family name. He takes on a suicide mission to destroy the Al'kieern kidnapping operation on the moon, Mara. But as he's about to blow the place to heille, he sees Isi. As she sings, a symbol appears on his palm, telling him she's his destined mate. He'll do anything to free her, but to escape, they must cross a grueling wasteland filled with deadly traps and the Al'kieern hot on their heels. Will their growing love survive this challenge?

Good story lots of adventures

Good book, not my favorite of the series but still pretty good.

Has less romance more action. Loved the heroin also knows a little to defend herself. She was a wonderful twist.

Great series

I truly enjoyed these books even if I read the Driegon series first. It's been a couple of years since I read them so I believe I will continue in the series, to get the chronological order of things.
Since my husband passed 3 yaros ago I have read or listened to at least 400 books and this is my favorite genre.
Keep writing cuz the pickens is getting a little slim.
Good work!!!

unsanitary love scenes.

I thought it was all right. but I was waiting to hear something about some running water before they got to the business. but there was plenty of mention of how putrid izzy smelled. she kept mentioning how good he smelled even though both of them hadn't washed in days and rarely even when she was in the oracle's custody. the author was very descriptive of her personal hygiene and her current unsanitary state. On top of that, she was swallowed by a stank and slimy Earth slug, swinging in trees and covered it in dirt / sand. just gross. I jumped in the shower after listening to this book. sorry I'm just being honest. if you can look past the unsanitary actions of the two of them, there's some really good action scenes. they're quite the team. Izzy and Lyle

A Wild Adventure!

I think that even if I had survived the Oracle, I would have had PTSD for the rest of my life! Talk about Survivor on steroids! Lyel and Izzy made a great team! Another great book. If this is the last, I'm going to miss these adorable green guys.

Cute Story

It is so funny to me when Humans come up with phrases and aliens haven’t a clue. Teddy did a gateway job with Lyel; had to get used to Tawnia, but she eventually grew on me. Look forward to listening to additional books added to this series.
