Story
Laurie Adams looked like he had it all, but his marriage was a sham. When his husband dies, his in-laws have decided Laurie isn't fit to raise his children. He's lost his husband and his faith in people, but he won't lose his children, too. So he runs back home to the farm town he'd left behind a decade ago. When Dean MacIntosh's childhood best friend comes running home for protection, Dean has no problem stepping in. Except when Dean offered to fake marry Laurie, he never expected the wedding kiss to feel so sweet, and he begins to question the sexuality he once took for granted.

When he catches the scent of his fated mate among the group of omegas, he knows that he will do whatever it takes to get them all to safety - even if it means taking them all, along with a group of his alpha buddies, and forming their own pack a thousand miles to the north.

River Erikson is a man on the run. After scenting his true mate, he’s done everything in his power to escape. Just because he was born an omega doesn’t mean he needs to answer fate’s call and drop to his knees for some alpha. Especially not a smug mafioso who thinks way too much of himself. Luckily, his job at STAHP - the vicious vigilante organization that works to police shifters when law enforcement can’t - keeps him busy enough that he can try to forget how his traitorous body reacts whenever a certain muscled Russian is around.

Laurie Adams looked like he had it all, but his marriage was a sham, a Mr. Wrong chosen for all the wrong reasons. When his husband dies, Laurie has no time to mourn the cheating bastard - his children must come first. His only option? Head home to the small farm town he’d left behind a decade ago. The last thing he’s looking for is a fresh start with a new alpha, especially not with Dean MacIntosh...his very straight childhood best friend.
Tropes for The Alpha’s Widower: friends to lovers, bisexual awakening, fake marriage, single parent
What do you do when your one-night stand shows up in your regular life?
After a one-night stand in a neighboring town leaves Kade MacIntosh pregnant by an alpha he has no way of contacting, he’s ready to be a single dad. But what the heck is he supposed to do when Mr. Hot Stuff shows up in his dance studio? Alec Santiago is hard enough for Kade to resist, but his heart is no match for Alec’s adorable daughter.
Tropes for The Omega’s Dance: single parent, surprise baby, one-night stand shows up in real life
What’s an omega to do when denied custody of his late sister’s baby? Take the job offered to be his manny!
Zeke MacIntosh gets the shock of a lifetime when he’s contacted by social services to let him know that a former one-night stand gave birth to his son...and never told him. When Zeke goes to meet his baby, he’s also introduced to a down-on-his-luck omega - who’s not only in the market for a job, but is also the baby’s maternal uncle, and a perfect manny candidate. Never one to think before he speaks, Zeke spontaneously hires Dusty and invites him to live in their home.
Tropes for The Alpha’s Manny: finding joy after loss, making a family, surprise baby, manny, and a smidge of enemies-to-lovers.

Three brothers - three loves
Three brothers with three stories of love.
I love the way all three of these books tie together and are yet each their own story. These brothers are so different from each other but they are all caring and loyal. Despite their teasing they have their backs. I love the way that each of them found that mate that is perfectly suited to them and who become a part of the family.

Amazing Series
I received an ARC of this audio bundle for my honest review.
In book 1 The Alpha's Widower we find Laurie and his 3 little ones. When his evil mother in law drops by she informs him that his alpha has died and she threatens to take the children away from him. He decides to move back home to his grandpa's farm. Dean is running Grampa's farm since his stroke. Laurie had always loved Dean ever since they were kids. Dean is great with the children.
In book 2 The Omega's Dance is about Kade and Alec. Kade is the owner of a dance studio that he loves teaching the children in the town how to dance. Alec is still grieving after all these years of his husband that passed and he still refuses to take off his wedding ring. Kade & Alec meet in a bar and have a one night stand as neither of them want a serious relationship. Kade finds out that the condom broke and he has no way to find Alec to let him know he's pregnant. When Alec comes to pick up his daughter Kenzie from dance class they finally meet again.
In book 3 The Alpha's Manny is about Dusty and Zeke. Dusty is heartbroken after having to bury his sister who was killed in a car crash and winds up having another miscarriage. While he's in the hospital his asshole alpha serves him divorce papers since he has had several miscarriages. He is trying to adopt his nephew when he gets a call from the social worker stating that they found the baby's father. Zeke is a real jerk after finding out he has a son and can't even remember the mother's name. Dusty is strong and puts Zeke in his place.
I really enjoyed listening to Drew narrate these stories. He did a great job with all the characters.

Why make all the alphas worse than the omegas?
The three stories -- "The Alpha's Widower", "The Omega's Dance", and "The Alpha's Manny" -- included in this collection are all more or less cut from the same cloth, even though the plotlines are somewhat different. There are ignorant, often arrogant alphas; feisty, sometimes equally arrogant omegas; silly misunderstandings that might have been overcome with more real communication and less snark and anger; and crazy people, including two horrible mothers-in-law, intent on hurting the omegas. Then, of course, there are children and because one story bleeds into the other, the children, some of whom are unnaturally mature for their age, all show up in each of the stories, and they play a part in the events that unfold. The stories are fine, very family-oriented, very sweet. Some parts of their lives are unnecessarily detailed and the narratives get tedious sometimes, although the last story is refreshingly different insofar as the alpha and omega aren't at all gentle, either physically or emotionally, with each other for the first few months of their time together as manny and boss. Every story has a cute wedding, the last one unexpectedly informal, and a baby being born. Finally, the narrator's performance is only just okay. He has a habit of pausing at inappropriate places in the story, as though he hasn't read the material first to see where pauses should occur. That drove me crazy. Overall, the stories are okay.

A good trilogy about love and family
I make no secret of my love for Susan Hawke's stories, but I've actually never read nor listened to anything she's written as Susi Hawke. Shocker, I know! So, of course, I was going to get my introduction to Hawke's omegaverse writing with a trilogy! Maybe it's the overachiever in me, but I'm glad that I was able to have the opportunity to listen to MacIntosh Meadows: The Complete Trilogy, narrated by Drew Bacca, who is new to me. The trilogy covers the MacIntosh brothers: Dean (a straight alpha in The Alpha's Widower), Kade (a gay omega in The Omega's Dance), and Zeke (a bisexual alpha in The Alpha's Manny).
The Alpha's Widower is a friends-to-lovers slash fake marriage romance about Dean MacIntosh and Laurence Adams. It's been quite a few years since Laurie left his hometown behind, but with the sudden death of his husband and the threats of his evil mother-in-law to take the eldest of his three children (plus one he's carrying but no one knows about), he returns to his grandfather...and his straight best friend, Drew. This was a pretty good story, although a far slower burn than I'd personally prefer. The narration was okay, although it did sound as if there were inconsistencies with the main voices.
The Omega's Dance is an unexpected pregnancy romance between Kade MacIntosh and Alec Santiago. Kade doesn't do relationships and Alec hasn't had one since his late husband passed away, leaving him a single dad. But one night changes everything when Kade ends up pregnant and then Alec shows up at Kade's dance studio with his daughter in tow! This was a fun story, anchored by the great chemistry between Kade and Alec. As was the case with the first book, the supporting cast was awesome. The narration was definitely better here as well, with a far smoother transition among all of the characters.
The Alpha's Manny is a surprise baby romance with Zeke MacIntosh and Dusty Williams. Zeke's never been one to settle down, but when he's informed that he's the father of a five-month-old baby whose mother has died, his world is turned upside down. Dusty is the baby's uncle and is the perfect nanny, but he's gone through a lot of heartache, what with the death of his sister, another miscarriage, and a divorce. This was my favorite story among the three, with a lot of tension, angst, and humor, and it sounds like the narrator truly his stride here. MacIntosh Meadows: The Complete Trilogy gets four stars. ♥

Loving family finds love together
Ah, another ABO book from Susi Hawke and I’m one happy listener. I swear her non-shifter ABO books are like crack. You can’t help but binge and binge. It’s great that this is a complete trilogy because talk about bang for your buck!
These Macintosh Meadows books are super fluffy, sweet and steamy. I loved that fake hubby trope/friends to lovers story of the first story “Alpha’s widower” and I thought Laurie is adorable. And the accidental and reluctant love trope of “The Omega’s dance” and the last book with the manny trope! (My favorite 😁) All in all, it was a lovely, fluffy listen with romantic stories and a good narration. Loved it. ❤️

Enjoyable trio
I enjoyed The Alpha’s Widow (first story) and thought The Alpha’s Manny (third story) was ok, but my favorite was The Omega’s Dance (second story). I didn’t really feel the connection between the couples in the first and third story as much as I did in the second. Most of the main characters in all three stories were really sweet, except Zeke in the third story. Though Zeke did turn around, I just didn't like his attitude in the beginning and it ruined it for me.
Drew Bacca did a great job. I could tell all the characters apart. He has a smooth and clear voice making it easy to follow along. I loved the way he would say “tiny dancer” in The Omega’s Dance. I would listen to more by Bacca.

Sweet Sexy and lots of Family fun
The Alpha's Widower - Laurie and Dean are absolutely adorable together. Laurie is dealing with a lot and he needs the love and support of his family and friends at a time when he feels lost. Dean is thrust into a new role and a new rush of feelings that develop with their new dynamic. The friends have always been there for one another and this is just one more example of that support. I really enjoyed seeing how their relationship has changed and the way it grows through everything that they have to handle and the people that they have to deal with. It is fun and refreshing to see the love that grows and the family that has emerged because of it.
The Omega's Dance - Alec and Kade are an example of people finding their happiness just when they aren’t looking for it. Alec has been through a lot and he feels like he isn’t worthy of the new love that he has possibly found in Kade. The two are adorable together and just perfect. Kade is exactly who and what Alec needs in his life at the perfect time. The strength and the support that Kade has from his friends and family is so important and awesome to watch. I absolutely hate that the wicked witch comes in and shows her true self to all of them and the damage that her arrival causes. It was refreshing to see the support and how Alec finally is able to come to terms with his past and look forward to his future
The Alpha's Manny - My heart aches for everything that Dusty has been through in such a short amount of time. The whole saying when it rains it pours is exactly what happens to this poor man. He has been though all of this and then has to deal with a complete alphahole on top of it all just seems like cruel and unusual punishment. Zeke is a complete and total jerk to Dusty from the time that they meet and it was really hard to try and like the guy. It was nice to see how things change and as it normally goes there is a fine line between love and hate for these two. The two of them are able to reach a truce when things finally come to a head. I loved seeing them come together and watching their relationship change as they got closer to one another. It was fun seeing how the whole clan came together to make sure that Dusty felt welcome and that Zeke had the support he needed when thrown into the deep end of parenting.
I always enjoy the complete sets it is great having all the books in one place and easily accessed without having to go searching for them. I love this family and seeing how they all come together to help one another through everything that pops up is just great. They are fun and the love that they all share is plain for anyone to see. I thought that the narrator did an amazing job with these stories and bringing them all to life in the best way possible.

Three wonderful, heartwarming, yet unique stories!
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 4.5 stars
🔥🔥🔥🔥 Heat Level: 4
🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧 Narration: 4.5
Three wonderful, heartwarming, yet unique stories. With colorful characters, sass, wit and all the feels you want from Susi. I loved MacIntosh Meadows!!
~~~~
The Alpha's Widower — Dean (Alpha, youngest MacIntosh brother) & Laurie (Omega)
A wonderful bi-awakening, best-friends-to-lovers tale!! I loved Laurie! I felt for him and all he had to go through and OMG his mother in law is demonic, I'm so glad she got taken down but she could have received a harsher sentence.
I love Susi's approach to Dean and his relationships. He's so sweet and caring and I loved his character arc. Such a sweet couple!
~~~~
The Omega’s Dance — Kade (Omega, middle MacIntosh brother) & Alec (Alpha)
This one made me cry on multiple occasions! Both for Alec and his first love and Kade's upbringing and the hot and cold feelings Alec seemed to project towards Kade.
I think these two are my favorites! So much pain in their past (& present) to overcome, I felt they were perfectly matched and while they had a serious challenge to face their pain they were finally able to move forward together! All the feels!!
~~~~
The Alpha’s Manny — Zeke (Alpha, eldest MacIntosh brother) & Dusty (Omega)
The last one to wrap up these brothers' stories! A sweet and surprising duo, with all the feels you could want, a bit of foot in mouth syndrome (thanks Zeke) and some hardships to overcome, I really liked these two. I felt they had great chemistry from the start and while Zeke had to come to terms with surprise fatherhood and fiery attraction, I loved his growth and how he stepped up into fatherhood and love so well. A beautiful finale!!
~~~~
Great narration by Drew Bacca on each of these stories! I really enjoyed the whole series and felt all the characters were 'read' differently and this was surprisingly consistent over all three books.
Thanks for reading!

I really liked this trilogy. part of that is all three books together. I could just keep listening and stay in the same world. I like the narrator's place and voice. I had no problem keeping up with which character was which, I really appreciate this. They were sweet stories and i would recommend this audio file.

An enjoyable narration
Hawke's MacIntosh Meadows series has come to life through Bacca's narration. I really enjoyed the stories reading the books and found the narration to be a delight. This is a welcomed addition to any TBR.

Throughly enjoyable!
This is the trilogy stories of the MacIntosh brothers, Zeke, Kade and Dean
First one up is Dean, the youngest brother. He is stunned when his best friend from childhood rocks up at his granfathers farm with 3 kids in tow on the run from his deceased husbands parents.
Lawrie was shocked to find out his husband had died in a car crash and they told his parents before him. Now his parents are trying to take custody of his kids.
Dean is straight but for Lawrie he would kill. So when Lawries mother in law turns up at the farm and serves Lawrie with papers to take custody of the kids. Dean says hell to the no and they hatch a plan to marry each other so that Lawrie can keep his kids.
Dean has fallen in love with the kids amyway , Matthew is the oldest and is already showing signs of being an alpha, Chris is the middle one and is deaf and Kiki is the youngest and is a proper princess.
Kade's story is full of sass. He's snarky and wittty and I just loved him.
He had a one night hook up in a bar and managed to get knocked up. He was shocked when he found out the baby Daddy was his oldest brother Zeke's colleague at his law firm. Kade has troubles with his over brearing mother who turns up back in their lives adn demands he attend church with her as penance for being an unwed father. She is a real nasty piece of work and ends up sectioned for her bahaviour. Kade also teches Alex's daughter Dance and very soon she is asking him if she can call him Papa
Zeke. finds out he is a Daddy when a woman eh knocked up dies and custody of the baby is given to him.. Dusty is the baby's uncle and was hoping for custody of Natty. He went to see Zeke when he had to hand over the bay and they agreed that Dusty would become Natty's manny.
They fall in love and this is their story.
3 stories interwined by family and 3 couples that deserve to be together.
This was narrated by Drew Bacca. although I don't usually think he is a great narrator he's ok and he did a great job on this one.
Susan Hawke still continues to put out fantastic stories and is one of my favourite authors.

Loved it all!
I had listened to the last book in this series (The Alpha's Manny) earlier this year, and while I enjoyed it, it was definitely more enjoyable listening to all three books in a row.
From fake marriage and friends to lovers, to secret baby and one-night-stand turned into more, to end up with enemies to lovers, there's something for everyone in this collection. The main and secondary characters were tridimensional and lovable, with the exception of Laurie's monsters-in-law or Dean, Kade and Zeke's horrible mother, of course. I loved how all three stories were interconnected and how everyone in the McIntosh family was so instrumental in all the stories. There was angst and fun and babies and a whole lot of love and I couldn't get enough of it all.
And of course, it didn't hurt that Drew Bacca did such a great job with all the different characters. He truly brought them and their stories to life for me. Very recommendable!

Fantastic set of sweet Mpreg stories
This is an incredibly sweet set of fun and funny alpha/omega non-shifter Mpreg stories. Although there are some pretty nasty mothers, ex in-laws, and ex spouses, there are plenty of sweet and supportive grandmas and other family members, resulting in mostly low angst stories. Kade, especially is hilarious and snarky with his purple hair and in-your-face attitude. He is also very sweet. Even after his mother tries to choke him, he doesn't want to press charges or cut her out of his life. I loved the take charge attitudes of the omegas, and the various bets of the MacIntosh brothers cracked me up. And, of course, there are numerous sweet babies.
The narration is very good, with different voices for all the characters. I really liked the dry, direct tone given to Dusty.
I received a review copy of this audiobook at my request, and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

Not my cup of tea!
I wish it had been clear in the blurb that this is an LGBT themed book. It would have saved me some time and some uncomfortable moments if it had been clearer to me that I was to expect graphic male sex scenes. Each to his own but not my cup of tea.
