Terrible narration

Could not get past the first chapter due to the terrible narration—excessively choppy and unnatural inflection.

The narration is horrible

It’s so hard to listen to. Sorry, but it’s not read at a natural pace. In fact it feels like it’s read by a machine.

Dry but informative

Solid overview of ML and associated items. A bit boring at times but overall a good discussion for a higher level understanding.

Great information, choppy narration

I enjoyed the abstract view of what Machine Learning is, however, much like the other reviews you see for this book, the narration was very choppy. the reader paused at nearly every other syllable, instead of pausing at complete sentences and commas only.

Unlistenable narration.

Not sure about the content, because the narration is completely unlistenable. Like they tried using inexpensive text-to-voice software.

Worst reading I have ever experienced

The reading is completely. Unlistenable. Sounds like. Someone who. Has severe linguistic problems. Especially. With regards to. Pausing and emphasis. It hurts. The ears.

It hurts me to see a beloved subject completely ridiculed and frankly f'ed up by this horrible reading.

Painful

It's hard to know if this is very poorly written or is simply ruined by the stilted and robotic narration, or a combination of both. The intonation makes it difficult to follow the structure of sentences, and the incorrect pronunciation of technical terms (e.g., Bayes as something like "Bayers") makes the experience all the more painful.

Comprehensive

It might have been a bit too advance for me but I could understand some of the machine learning concepts even without a background.
