Brilliant
Not what I expected!
Was such a lovely and emotional story. Be warned, it’s not all flowers and hearts though. Worth it in the end ❤️

an OK read but not her best
love Mhairis books and was excited to see a new one out! found this one a bit "meh" and definitely not her best. found Harriet irritating and not all that likeable tbh but maybe it was to do with the narrator?

Brilliant
Easy listen and lovely very relatable story. I’m an ex wedding photographer with 2 many bad ex boyfriends, who reminisced my way through this! Highly recommended

Great Read
So glad I kept seeing this come up on my Facebook feed and decided to download it, it gave me the feels from the opening. Heartfelt and I’m sure very relatable to a lot of people (probably more than we’d care to think about) but lots of laughs throughout as well. Can’t wait for the next book.

Excellent book
Mhairi McFarlane's books keep getting better and better. The narrator was very good too.
The subject matter is probably one that many women will identify with. Three story is both moving and funny and I cried and laughed in equal measure. Highly recommend.

She's only gone and smashed it again!
Loved, loved, loved. Only Mhairi McFarlane can elicit a Taylor Swift range of emotions in my stone cold heart. This book is SMART and funny and deeply moving and I hate that it's going to be labelled "chick lit"!

I loved it
she's done it again, I have every one of McFarlane's books and love them all. this one felt more mature some how with the tackling of the abuse topic. but it was done sensitively. this would be an amazing film adaption too ❤️

Mad About It
Beautiful book. Am now obsessed with Mhairi McFarlane and plan to listen to all her work.
Brilliantly performed, so easy to listen to. Comfortably predictable in places but not in others, just enough to keep you guessing. The end made me cry happy tears.
Can’t recommend this book highly enough. It’s a toss up between this and Last Night as to which of Mhairi’s books I prefer and it’s a bit too close to call. Simply fantastic. Loved every second of it.
